Emily’s Best Book Yet!. This book was simply amazing. The perfect summertime read. This is my favorite book by her and I’m obsessed with Charlie and Nora. Must read!

I sobbed. Okay did I think this book would be more open scenes yes. Did I hate it ? No, the opposite in fact. I was a crying mess on my flight as I read this novel. The first 53 pages were so dynamic and made me fall in love with the characters. The themes in this book pulled at my heart strings. Unfortunately this book was a little too relatable at time. So it spun me back into the time I had to let go of my love for my college partner. Ahh I could literally burst into tears. Also the sister relationship in this book was wonderfully written and so real. Ah I love it! I can’t wait to re read the book already :)!

Read this book!. This book makes me feel all lovey dovey inside. Emily has a lot of great outlooks on life and a lot of great advice. The characters are so well thought out and put together. This book makes you think about your own life and how to live better. Emily also creates a great image in your mind with everything she describes. This book has motivated me to continue reading. If you want to realize you appreciate your life or even that you don’t and that you’re doing things wrong and need to make YOURSELF happy. Then read this book.

More than just a romance…. This book really snuck up on me. I think I was expecting more of a straight up romance, but it was so much more. The way the different relationships unfold made for a very compelling read. There were moments I laughed out loud, and others where I cried. I rarely do that with books, especially not with books that seem so lighthearted, at least at first glance.

Hot, with all the Feels too. Loved it. Want it a sequel. And a movie.

5 mothereffing stars. I have read Emily Henry’s other books and I was not impressed. But this one I was pleasantly surprised by. I just have so much to say but won’t because that’ll take up so much time. So I’ll just say the bare minimum. I was rooting for Nora the whole book. I absolutely love her so much. (Not as much as Charlie, no one can love Nora as much as Charlie. Wait Libby can but that’s besides the point) she was just so misunderstood and for good reason. She was an onion and you really had to peel those layers very slowly to understand her and why she is the way she is. She and Charlie had chemistry that leaped off the page! They were electric. The banter was so delicious. I could not put this book down, genuinely. The relationship between Libby and Nora was so deep and complicated. It evoked such emotion. I cried a bit while reading this.

Perfect book!. I fell into this book from page one and hated to crawl out of it after I read the last sentence. An easy “feel good” read with likable characters. What could be better than a romance story about books and people who love them?!

A Realistic yet story worthy Love Story. Love story’s are always soured for me by the helpless and quite frankly pathetic girl always looking for a man. She’s nothing without him- Ewww. lost for words. This book ….. when I first started the book I didn’t know if I was going to like it. I soon realized that I was going to fall in love with this book. Normally when I read a book I’m exited to be finished so that I can read a new book, this was not the case with this book. I have never been in a book slump or not been able to read but that book can put you in a bad book slump. CHARLIE LASTRA is one of my favorite book guys he is amazing. Nora amazing. Libby…. Every time I read Libby’s name it reminded me of Lilly bloom and in a way Lilly and Libby are similar so I always just imagined her as lily and it kinda hurt. BUT OTHER THAN THAT THIS BOOK IS MY TOP 3.

Amazing. When I say I sobbed like a little baby… I did. So beautifully written, was hooked as soon as I started. My book club chose this as an alternate this month and I couldn’t be happier that they did. Looking forward to reading more from Emily Henry.

In New York. Somehow Emily Henry makes these pieces so full of life, emotion, romance, real life pieces and makes it mean so much more than black ink on a page. So many emotions cross through you while embarking on the journey of the Stephen sisters and the one and only Charlie. Glad I turned the page on this story and did not read the end first.

Book Lovers Loved. Absolutely LOVED this book! Makes me miss my little sister so much!!!! Everything about this book is great! It made me smile, laugh, cry, “pout” (literally), and it made me think about life and feel grateful for the things i have, dont have, and working on getting!

It’s good but…..repetitive. This book should be a 5 star, but by golly if I have to hear Nora “I have to protect her” one more time about her GROWN, HAPPILY MARRIED sister, I may gag. I mean we GET IT. Nora has baggage, but boy do they repeat it over and over and over and over again. Loved Charlie and loved Nora when she wasn’t going on and on about the same thing. Like girl, WE GET IT.

10/10 Read. This book uses trusted tropes without becoming a cliche. The characters are lovable, snarky, and well-crafted. With a charming, potentially morally grey, male love interest and a loving yet driven protagonist, there’s no way this book could have been anything but a hit. While Nora and Charlie’s whirlwind summer romance is exciting and emotional, the book also explores themes of familial love, grief, and just how hard it is to be practical and hot in a small town.

Really good!. First book I have read by this author. Really enjoyed it. I laughed out loud and cried too. As a book lover , I could relate - “of course you don’t have a life …. There’s always something too good to read.” Exactly!

Perfect summer read!!. Oh my goodness have I been waiting for a book like this. Loved the story line, the dialogue and quips were off the hook. I couldn’t stop cracking up at the banter between Nora and Charlie. What really charmed me is the mention of Charlies struggles as a child and the nod to his ADHD mind. It mentioned the struggle but also the beauty of it and it’s “super power” of hyper focus. It is one of the first books I’ve run across that understands and embraces it so well. The fact that the characters name is Charlie, which is the same as my son who also has this neuro divergency, just hit home. It is the perfect summer read but also has the perfect chemistry of follow your dreams as well as your heart. My favorite of hers yet!

Heartwarming. I loved how she sneakily put our girl January Andrews in the book that is all!

The perfect RomCom. This book had my bursting out loud laughing, much at my husband’s dismay. It also left me teary-eyed and satisfied. This is not my preferred genre but still one of the best books I’ve read in a long time.

Heart warming!. This book kept me wanting more! Everything about this book we’ve heard and seen before, but this author’s voice makes it feel brand new! You can’t help but begin to feel desperate for the Stephens to be happy, to have peace. Every character mentioned had a history, a true presence and an offer of a happy future. There are no characters that feel left hanging in the wind. An excellent, complete and romantic novel that I’ll definitely be reading again!

Why 3 Stars?. I don’t know… people seem to live this book so very much. I did enjoy it a lot. It’s well-written, the characters are fun, the love story enthralling, but somehow I found myself skimming certain parts in the last third of the book. I couldn’t feel empathy for the sister drama. Which felt weird… like… why don’t I feel something??? The ending though was lovely to read. And who are we kidding? I can’t wait to watch the movie that comes out of this!

Must read!. Amazing! I couldn’t put it down. It’s wonderful to see such a powerful story of love and sisterhood!

Funny, touching and romantic.. This is a heart touching story with snappy, hilarious dialog, quirky, realistic characters and easy views. The acknowledgment of romantic fiction tropes Henry brings to the story is interesting. The relationship between Nora and Charlie is special in the way the truly appreciate each other- they see each other clearly and love the view. The relationship between Nora and Libby is where the heart comes in - understanding the intenseity of Nora’s anxiety to take care of her sister is truthful and the way Nora grows is beautiful. “Somehow it never occurred to me that this was an option: that two people, in the same hug, could both be allowed to fall apart.
