Woke propaganda made it insufferable. I had high hopes for this storyline but the woke narrative ruined it.

This book had me cringing. I tried to read the whole thing but I found myself putting the book down because of the unrealistic cringe worthy dialogue. Don’t waste your money.

An Original. Snarky, Nerdy, & Sweet Romance. I have been a fan of Ashley Poston's for years now (read an ARC of her very first ya novel). Her transition into adult does not disappoint. My favorite thing about her writing is the humor and heart she always brings to the page. The characters are likable and relatable and the plot was original. I was completely hooked until the last page. Highly recommend.

Good premise but slowly paced. This was 80% family drama and 20% romance, contradicting the title and a bit of the premise. The pacing was just a bit too slow for me. It does deliver a hopeful ending which I enjoyed.

Favorite list. Don’t know how a ghost story ended up hopeful and uplifting but if did! Swoon worthy and romantic and i didn’t know how we’d end up with a HEA but we did!

Aching and Heartwarming. Perfect book for those scared of death and in search of a well written romance novel. Light hearted and hopeful at parts and painfully accurate interwoven, portrayal of grief. The narrator’s voice was a little overbearing at parts, and sunflowers don’t grow in the spring (this detail bothered me) but overall a comfort read that goes below the surface.
