much better than the last one!. i really loved the first book, but the second one kinda ruined it for me because all of the relationships were switched around and stuff. this one made me feel a lot better about the series though, and i desperately need book 4 after that ending!! i loved all the new characters that beatrice met, and nina and daphne working together and becoming kinda sorta friends was so fun to read. i also really liked how sam and marshall were having all of the important discussions about their future, and i love that the author included commentary about racism, sexism, etc. and integrated it so well with the plot. loses 1 star because i feel like everything happened pretty fast towards the end, but hopefully book 4 can tie that up!

Loved it. I’ve been reading these books from their initial release. I’m so mad this ended on a cliff hanger. Please let her make it through, and I’m so excited to read the fourth installment!

She did it again!. This series just keeps getting better! I came across the first book by chance not expecting much either way. I was pleasantly surprised and by the second book I was in love with this world and it’s characters! I can NOT wait for the next book. I could see this being a continuous series because these characters would never run out of stories. I hope I’m right because I’d be very happy to follow them for a very long time. Thank you for another great read!
