Short and nice. Quick but very nice.

Worth it to the very end!. I absolutely loved this book. It was perfectly written and captivating to the very end. You can finish it in one sitting if you have time.

Book was fun, but.... The book was fun, but I can't get over that all her books are the exact same... short small woman, who thinks the man hates her due to some miss understanding and above average tall and broad man who is too awkward to confess his feelings till the end.. literally every book she writes is this story

Slightly not believable character. I loved her first book. This book was good. However I felt it was a little too short and I also didn’t find the male character developed enough or believable (“I don’t like sex.”)

Pretty good apart from the ending. The beginning of the book was great, the writing was good the characters were well composed and I liked seeing their development throughout the book. My only issue it is that the ending was extremely abrupt, it was going nice and slow but then all of a sudden when the book gets out of the flash back, their relationship just speeds up and there is the end.

I love rom coms. It was so cute! Easy read, exciting, funny , and the ending!!!!! AHHH I wish I could re read this book.

The cuteness is real!. UGH THEY ARE SO CUTE!!!!!!!!! I legit cannot handle the characters cuteness. It was a little odd at first, but the more I read the more I was convinced that this book would be cuter than anything. Now, this book definitely made me defend my love for the Love Hypothesis. I will legitimately read anything this woman writes and I’m happy I have a stack of books by her to tackle. Also? The Love Hypothesis just got announced into a movie yayayaya But anyways back to the book! The story was cute and quick and full of everything that makes me love romance. I love that it was too the point and still held real chemistry between the characters. Hazelwood has a great talent to make her main characters really relatable. All of Mara’s narration felt relatable and made me giggle. UGH love love love. Read this book!!!!! Than come talk to me about it!!!

BETTER THAN LOVE HYPOTHESIS. & don’t fight me, bc I know how you gurls like to tussle. But this book is who y’all think LH is. Liam gave Adam a run for his money. absolutely in love w this book & everything about it. BUT Ali you’re gonna have to catch me outside bc why was it sooo short 🥲

Needs better epilogue. It’s cute. A bonus Liam POV chapter, or just basically anything more than looking at a grocery list in the store together. Something more than sex happening and ending the book.

Publisher should have done a book of shorts. I love the writing. Cute story. Great author- she is really great at characterization. I’m assuming the next two books for Mara’s friends will be a novella (ish) like this? Could have released them together. Either way, I enjoyed this. Keep writing. We obv love reading your stuff! *And to be fair…it does say it’s a novella in the description! This is a short pleasant romp with few conflicts. Easy and relaxing read.

Good but short. I loved how this was written but 150 pages seems really short I would have loved to have it go more in depth or continue to follow the characters further in the future. The description says 312 pages but there is no way

Pretty good. Ali Hazlewood made it to my favorite authors list, after reading Love Hypothesis. I had very high hopes for this book and everything was really good besides the sex. It was just really awkward and felt rushed. With the direction the story was going in, the sex scene felt so random, there wasn’t even really much events that led up to it which made it weird. But the plot is amazing and the characters are so perfect for each other. I love how Liam isn’t the typical grumpy guy and he’s actually pretty awkward and easily flustered. Ali Hazlewood has such a gift of making readers feel they are watching the story play right in front of their eyes. And both books I’ve read have perfect comedic dialogue.

How Sweet 🥹. Firstly, I love that the FMC (as well as her friends) had a career in STEM! The romance story was super sweet and relatable. 🥰 I love the circular motion that the story took from prologue to the last chapter. Can’t wait to read more from this author!

Great writer same story. I really wanted to like this so much since I loved The Love hypotheses. But this seemed like the exact story in reverse. The sex scene did not make sense and was awkward. It has potential but it missed the mark. However I still enjoy her writing style and hope the next ones hit the mark.

Miss Ali does not disappoint!. Miss Ali gurl is deffo creating a new lane w romcoms and smut. It’s like reading a movie, absolutely preposterous as a statement. But Here I am reading, while a movie is playing all around me. She has a talent with words and I’m very impatient for her next work. The book is a breath of fresh air. This book is for me. I relate so much. I feel represented. And very much honoured. Did I mention it was a breath of fresh air? She’s writing books I knew I needed but could never find. S/O to you!! I read the books and I can actually fully immerse myself in the character as we were one of the same. Thank you Ali for this book, and everything that’s yet to come.

Not written for readers. This book is written like an overview instead of a novel. It’s covers 6 months in 13 chapters and hardly touches on the details- so many details that could have made the story so worth it, but without them it felt way to fast and way to empty- like a missed opportunity. I understand that this book wasn’t really written for avid readers so if you like depth pick something else - but if your newer to reading and want a little light romance then this is a good place for you to start.
