Slow start but picks up speed fast. Never disappointed with this series. Have read every one of them. Love this cop family and friends.

It’s J D Robb. All the familiar characters and some forward progress. Someone is up for a promotion. Someone might be getting a love interest. Dennis Mira is is his wonderful self and Dallas gets the job done. It took me several days to read the book which is not normal for a Robb. It was a bit dry and shallow in spots.

Desperation In Death. Excellent read. I started reading this last night at 8 pm and finished it today at 5 pm. I took a couple breaks to sleep and eat but didn’t stay away for long. I look forward to all the In Death stories and I’ve never been disappointed.

Definitely evil vs good. This was an eye-opener. Nasty business that Eve, as usual, got to the bottom of, with her crew and, of course, Roarke. Really like how the nasty is offset by good people helping where they can.

Beyond Awesome as usual. What an amazing story.

Great Read. I tried really hard to not read this too fast, but I finished it in a few hours. Riveting. Both heartwarming & heartbreaking. Everything I could ask for packed into one book - I love it when the good guys win! JD Robb books are golden!!

Hard to get through. If you are into sex slaves and interested in pedophilia, then this book is a good read for you. I could hardly get through it. Increasingly her books dwell on the darkest of human behaviors. I’ve read all her books so far. I think this will be my last. I’m sorry that one of my favorite authors has now been deleted from my must rad list.

NETFLIX !!!. We need this in our lives !! I would watch over and over again !!! We all would !!

Really Enjoyed This Book. Really enjoyed this book. The plot and characters were fresh and immediately engaging, and came to a very satisfying conclusion. Favorite characters are really on their game. Best in the series in the past 2 years.

Fun read. This was a fun read.

Trigger warning. Another great read. I had a hard time at the start given the nature of the plot. Child sexual abuse and exploitation is hard to read about. I was just caught off guard.

Excellent as always. Couldn’t put the book down. Read it in two sittings. I love this series.

Terrible writing. I never abandon a book, but I could not get past halfway through this one due to the terrible grammar and writing style. The story is so interesting and I would love to know the ending, but there are so many commas in each sentence! It makes the reading very staccato and interrupts the train of thought throughout the book. Sad I’ll never know the ending.

Hands down the best in the series so far!!. I am a huge fan of J.D. Robb/Nora Roberts and she did it again with this one. It hit all the right notes. I had such a hard time putting it down. This book had sobbing at parts. It’s so easy to get emotionally involved with these characters. Thank you Ms. Roberts for being such a wonderful storyteller!!
