Obi wan in his padawan days. This book focuses on a young obi wan kenobi in his early days as a padawan. Admittedly my expectation’s for this book were high as seeing obi wan starting out as a padawan is intriguing to me and that the master and apprentice book showed us a very good look into the relationship with him and his master qui gon. Now while there’s some of that is in this book and that’s definitely the best parts about this book, at least for me. but the vast majority of it is on a remote planet and thats when the book really starts to drag as the planet, the situation and the characters obi wan meets are bland and boring. I found myself wishing they’d have just stayed at the Jedi temple instead of running around a very forgettable planet with an even more forgettable cast of characters you won’t even remember in a day or two.
