Your awesomeness. I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is the first time I am reading this author. I found it a really interesting a different story and I give the author kudos for her originality in this story. This book stars, A.J. a Jewish, very grouchy, hairy teacher with a major attitude. He teaches biology and I found some of his classes fascinating especially when he compared frogs with the non gender binary labels teens are using nowadays. I also enjoyed reading how he called some of the Jewish holidays, Days of Awe. He has an ex, Lara who treated him very badly and he still is recovering from her breaking his heart. He meets Samantha "Sam" when she invites him to come to her computer software company as way for her to get good PR while trying to reach the needs of local schools, teachers and students. She meets Aj while in the middle of a reporter interviewing her and she ends up alienating him and so starts their hate romance. Sam is very successful but her family does not treat her that way and especially her military father who is extremely hard on her and her siblings who want her to do everything for them. AJ's ex did a terrible number on him and he feels like Sam does, that he is not awesome and I loved how his friends try to show him that it was her and not him that was the problem. This is primarily a story about family, friends, love and moving on and seeing how awesome you are and finding the person that loves you but also makes you feel good about yourself.

What??. Couldn’t get pass the first the first 2 chapters. I don’t have a problem with people being who they are or doing them as long as they aren’t hurting anyone. That being said I believe that EVERYONE has a right to like or dislike whatever and others don’t have a right to push their beliefs or views on them. When I am reading which I do because I love to read I don’t want to read would like the author to be honest about the content of the book. I think teaching kids to call a person them/they if they are referring to one person. So now what you gonna reteach English pronouns and the meaning?? I don’t want to read about two males or females having sex. And I am not mad if they don’t want to read about a male and female. And I don’t like people trying to one at me because I disagree with them. I feel everyone has a right to their opinions, feelings etc

Amazing!!!. Wow I was not expecting to enjoy this book as much as I did. It was very cute and nicely developed in my opinion, I personally finished it in one sitting. Sam was just excepcional to me, very driven and passionate despite her family. The romance aspect was pretty good, it never felt forced or too fast. I’m really impressed by how entertaining this book was.

Role reversal, sort of. Role reversal, sort of. I liked the spin that Samantha Vine (great book name) is the successful CEO who everyone likes. AJ is the teacher, grumpy and has a chip on his shoulder (boulder?). They get off to a rough start. Recommend.

It’s alright. I wanted to love this book. But it was just a little all over the place. Everything was glanced over quickly. The family issues and past relationship were mentioned and somewhat discussed but it could’ve gone deeper. Plus they seemed to hate each other and not really interact much the whole first half of the book. I liked the idea of the female ceo and male teacher but it overall just missed the mark.

Fireball. Way to heavy handed with the far left virtue signaling. It really took away from the story.
