Never Run. Fast paced and believable characters. N Hard to put down

Decent. Personally, I feel this book was very adequate. The plot was pretty predictable, and don’t get me wrong it had some suspenseful moments and I enjoyed the different point of views, but I hoped for more thrilling endeavors.

Cookie Cutter. Realized I had read it before. Then noted I had not read this story. the author changed superficial details but story was the same formula. Did not finish.

Not up to her usual standard.. Interesting story but same plot and protagonist as all the others. Only the names have changed. Not as well written as some of the other stories.

LOVED IT. This book kept kept me on my toes the entire time. I was sucked in and read through this in three days!!

Good for young readers. The story is quite simple with a lot of kind of childish emotions envolved that don’t always seem realistic. It’s probable a good, fun read for kids. Not if you are looking for a serious crime read.

Excited for this new series from Blake!. Excited for this new series from Blake! May has dealt with being the shadow of both her sisters her entire life – one of them an esteemed FBI agent and the other missing and her case still unsolved. But when a case comes up that is similar to her sister’s case, she thinks they could be connected, and also that her sister might be alive after all these years. And once people start to believe her, they call in the FBI and specifically her sister, and she immediately shuts her down and it almost costs them May’s life. I love that May’s partner always has her back, and I hope to see him, and May get together at some point. And I truly felt for May and the dismissal her family lays upon her and the comparison between the sisters. I really enjoyed this book, and I can’t wait to continue the series to find out what actually happened to May’s sister! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

5star. Great format and a great storyline which displays this mystery as a fascinating plot to which the author helps us to understand.

It was good. It reads very well and was definitely a page turner. Now excuse while I go read more by this author.

Fake Believe. It’s written like a high schooler posing as law enforcement. Stilted dialogue and cheesy storyline that made it too ridiculous to finish reading.

Never run. A very suspenseful story with twists and turns… Surprisingly clean, and not overly descriptive in gore.

Never run. Started out thinking about this book and debating whether I should give it a shot as I don’t like losers I kept reading. Happy that I did because I thoroughly enjoyed it. Hope mystery readers will also read this book. Ole grandma

Never run. Kept me so enthralled read it in 3 days characters so realistic could not put it down. If had more leisure time would have read it in 1 day . Really enjoyed it

Never Run. I loved the “realness” of May’s character. I could truly relate to so many of her choices, her thoughts and her processes.

Average. Reasonable story, but very average writing. I’ve read most of Blake Pierce’s work, and this doesn’t read like her at all. Very clumsy
