Eye-opening. I wasn’t sure when I started the book what I was actually getting into. But the longer I got into the book the more I enjoyed it, and found it very eye-opening. I recommended highly to everyone. It will give you a real appreciation for what our service people go through.

Ok. Politics. I respect the guy’s service, but when you call the Jan 6 event an insurrection by white supremists, I’m out. Not one person was charged with anything more than trespassing. Might have been a good book; I’ll never know.

Thank you Adam Gamal. Loved every second of this book. Adam Gamal artfully wrote about his captivating time serving in the US Military’s most secretive unit as an Egyptian-American of Muslim faith. His experience provides an extraordinary perspective that’ll provide hope and invaluable insights for us all (military and civilian). A “must” read.

Ok story, great American. Far less revealing of missions and secret squirrel activities than anticipated. Great story of a man,s humble beginning and becoming a member of an elite unit. And a bit too preachy at times.

Lefty. Trash book pushing lefty agenda

The Unit. I like this book and as I read it, it brought back memories of my life before the military, my military career and finally life after the military. Having lived outside the US for a 1/3 of my life has opened my eyes and cause me to see the good and bad in people. I appreciate CSM (ret) Gamal’s passing along his journey in life and to the USA, thank you. May God continue to bless you and your family. HOOAH!

Woke narrative. Woke Political agenda. Vailed indoctrination towards a leftist ideology and fantasy land.

A Must Read. Whether you’re a 6th generation American or fresh off the boat, Sgt Gamal has an inspirational story and tells it extraordinarily well.

Non-Woke narrative and honest look at America today. I thought it would be military door kicking book but I found lots of truth to the story. As a minority retired army guy myself, I agree 100% with his story. Great American sorry. Thank you sir.
