4.5 Stars!. 4.5 Stars! I really enjoyed this book! This is the second book in the ‘Gloves Off: Next Generation’ series and can be read as a standalone. The book is told in a duel point of view between the two main characters, Braden and Reagan. They did seem to fall in love pretty fast but I’m sure it was drawn out in book one of the series. The author kept me guessing the whole time about who the bad guys were. This book has plenty of mystery, suspense, brutal fight scenes, hot ‘sexy times’, intrigue, action, dark sexy mafia men and it’s all wrapped up with a HEA ending. Definitely recommend this book. *I received this at no charge & I voluntarily left this review.*

Wonderful story filled with the unexpected. I am so happy after reading Taking the Fight. It checked off so many of my favorite genres including MMA, Mafia, friend to lovers and workplace romance. It didn't hurt that there were a lot of hotties decorating the pages either. The ending had me bubbling over with happiness making it the best escape from reality. Carter and Emma from book one are leading their best life, planning a wedding with Braden as best man and Reagan as maid of honor. Braden and Reagan are going to have to be together a lot. With all the tension between them I had to wonder who would explode first. Or even better, who would admit that they had feelings for the other. They definitely steamed up the pages. Now, if only they could stay out of trouble. Reagan is on hiatus while her parents are away. When Annika asks her to train her she saw no harm even though she was first approached by Nikolai about training her. It doesn't take long for Reagan to be way over her head in the mafia. They are the masters at twists, shocks and traps. How deep with Reagan get or will it be too late. Annika's brother, Finn, wants Reagan for his own. Her feelings are of no consequence. When Braden steps in to protect her the gloves come off. Honor no longer matters. Determination is the only power. The question is, at the end of the day, who will tap out and who will walk away a winner.

Another hit in my book!. LP Dover is one of my favorite authors. She never disappoints with her writing. Keep up the great work and I can’t wait to see how this whole story with the douche bags play out. I love seeing this family revisited.
