Smarmy Exploitive Crap & Incredibly Lousy e-Transcription. I've had the hardcover of this book since it was first published and had been looking forward to reading it again, this time in e-book format. But I've never seen so many and such egregious typographical errors in a single e-book. None of these appear in the hardcover (I double checked one format against the other). Incidentally, if yore wondering what happened to the advertised 32 photos, they appear after the index. Apart from the tyope-o issue, I'm still sorry I bought this e-book version. I'd forgotten how smarmy, sycophantic, and two-faced the writing is. (I'm sure Peter Brown didn't endear himself to any of the former Beatles or their families with his snide commentaries, rude speculations about events he couldn't possibly have witnessed. All these years later, I found the book invasive, course and exploitive. I felt slimy for having participated and wish I hadn't help fatten Brown's bank account further.

Thanks for wrecking a great book with crappy ebook technology. The story itself is great but this ebook version is fraught with dozen of mistakes caused no doubt by a crummy scanning program and corporate disregard. Don't pay for this ebook unless they fix it first; don't support slipshod ebooks. They are charging full price for these electronic versions which cost them nothing, yet the product received deserves a refund. Shameless!
