Revolutionary Suicide. Reading Huey Newton's story through this lenses is like eating morsels of chocolate- sweet and rich. I have always adored Newton and the Panthers but have admittedly assumed he was a bad boy by nature. This memoir humanizes him and makes you think twice about the person society has painted him out to be.

Trash. Radical book written by a criminal who committed crimes and thought he was punished unjustly. He admitted to Killing and burglary and got away with it. I simply didn’t like his ideas of entitlement for African-American and communist ideologies. I stopped reading halfway because of it.

Revolutionary suicide - Huey P. Newton. Absolutely loved this book but more importantly the mindset of Black Panther Party founder Huey P. Newton. I was educated on existentialism through this book & through the recommendations by Huey P. & with these recommendations I was able to enlighten myself even more with some influential Marxist’s like Jean Paul Sartre , Søren Kierkegaard & many more through out humanity’s timeline.
