F as in terrible. Lots of hype got me to pay good $ for this loser. Big mistake and I threw in the towel after 200 pages of the impossible, totally improbable story line.

Best of both worlds!. I loved all three of his books, it just gets better and better with each chapter. Read them in order, and have a great time! Perfect mix between a Jack Reacher novel and light sci-if. Please keep reading these books

Breach wow!. Grabs you and won't let go. Great read.

Wickedly awesome read. I haven't read a book in years. My wife was trying to get me to start reading. We found this book at the library. After reading one chapter I could barely put it down. I read the entire series, twice!

Exciting!. Really good book! An extraordinary story, can't wait for his next book.

Fun with issues. It was ok. Love the ideas and how the story was told, but the group that's been around for ~20 years just for that purpose, acting so dumb regarding the breach itself really hurt the book. I'm getting the next one though.

The Breach. A good read. A bit far-fetched in a spot or two, but I'm anxious to get my hands on the sequel.

Unique and Fun Page Turner. I loved this book. It was a new and different premise that had me guessing all the way through. A real page turner that I could not put down. Good characters. The whole book had a fresh feel from new author Patrick Lee.

Great Read. Took a chance on this book with my new I-Pad. Burned through the book in less than a week! Fantastic Ending! Just finished the second Book Ghost Country,

Excellent!. I haven't been glued to a book like this since the DaVinci Code! It hooks you from the opening pages and is literally hard to put down. Finished in 3 days and that's because I had to sleep and go to work! I'm glad my friend urged me to read it!

A Turkey. I gave it 50 pages before I quit. Way too far fetched for me.

Very Surprised & A New Fan. I sampled the initial chapters and reached the page to Buy or Not. Although the initial pages did not grab my attention, the reading became more interesting. The plot thickened, the action grew quickly and I was hooked! While the usual extended descriptions of other highly read authors of this venue are often left out, the references to technology appear accurate and encouraged this reader forward--granting sway with the references and enrichment for which I would have enjoyed.... Perhaps having just completed reading all James Rollins books these past few months, I was expecting the same. However, this book continues to develop in intensity and at times requires the reader to grant and accept that which is not... nor could be explained. I found the ending to be speculator. It was not a short cut to finish a book, but, in my opinion, an ending that has no ending. I highly recommend this book and will certainly consider additional purchases of this author. Thank you for a wonderful read. I may be somewhat bias in that one of my cats is named Whisper... and, I think she has some of the same qualities ;)

100 Words or Less. The fast-paced, action-packed nature of this novel makes it a fun, easy read. However, the last few pages completely destroy its Sci-Fi cred. Not to give anything away, but how can the author build up such a mysterious interesting premise and then explain it all away with abject carelessness? Few things are sacrosanct in Sci-Fi, but Lee violates a cardinal belief with a casual dismissal. It’s as if, with a shrug, he simply wants to brush the paradoxes away. This is a good novel in search of a much better ending.

Awesome Book. The quickest I've ever read a book was probably 4 months or so. I read The Breach in 4 days. Can't wait to read the sequels!

The Breach. Very vivid! Unpredictable.

Extremely Well Crafted. This was a great book to think about after one finished reading it. The reader is left with lots of questions and possibilities. The characters were nicely developed, but you are left with the question, "now what" because the normal happily ever after can't work. Fortunately it seems more books with these characters are coming. I really enjoyed this book. If you are a fan of science with a twist, this is a good one in the genre of Jurassic Park or The Lake House.

Light sci-fi, but very entertaining. I'm kind of old school; I love me some William Gibson, some early Neal Stephenson, and some older hard sci-fi too. This is a bit less on the science side, but I really enjoyed listening to it a lot. Don't get me wrong, it's no Neuromancer, but it did draw me in. It was a bit more graphically violent at times than I prefer, but it wasn't the hyper-gore of, say, Richard Morgan's Takeshi Kovacs novels, which kind of turned my stomach. Pretty well rounded characters, some amount of plausibility, and a fast moving storyline. I recommend this, and the sequel (Ghost Country, I think?). Looking forward to the sequel.

Great sci-fi read. Loved it. Launching into the sequel immediately. Lots of good mystery and action, wrapped up in a science fiction story.

The breach. Awesomely different perspective from anything else I've read. Waiting for more.

Not Bad.... I read this book based on a recommendation and now am doing the same. Read it. Read it before Ghost Country. egh

The Breach. The Breach is an awesome action packed story that you will not regreat reading!

AN EXCITING READ!!!!!. Ok so I chanced upon Ghost Country, reading the first few chapters. Then decided to look up other works and discovered this is a series. So downloaded The Breach and gotta tell u this is a really exciting read. It's now 515 am I've been thru half the book in like 4.5 hours... Yeah it's that exciting. The last author that had me this enthralled to sit and read the whole book was James Rollins. So if you're deciding whether or not to get it, you've wasted too much time ..., JUST GET IT ALREADY .... YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Amazing. There is so much story and imagination in this book. Surprised not a movie or tv series. You really get more than your money's worth with these first two books. The breach and Ghost country.

Not for me...... I'm sorry to say but I was bored with this book from start to finish.

Made a change. Stumbled upon this book by reading the reviews. The hero figure is a lot like Jack Reacher, a well intentioned maverick with a raft of specialist skills, useful when dealing with the bad guys. The futuristic concept is a new direction for me. Not too deep, a nice easy read, good enough to get the next in the sequence too.
