Just ok. Way more erotica than story here. Still interesting, but not his best work.

Disappointed. I am truly disappointed in this book.. I have read all of EJD's books and this one was the worst I've read.. Eroticism is an understatement.. No real plot.. And the "twists" were so unbelievably corny. I understand creating a literary picture, but this was so unbelievably drawn out.. You don't need a full two paragraphs to describe someone sweating.. We get it.. I'm ready for EJD to go back to clever story lines with classy steamy erotic scenes sprinkled along the way..

Awesome book. Very powerful book. Definitely left me wanting more. Read the book in two days. Eric is by far my favorite author!!!

Caught my attention !. Being a Trini- American also a Gr,I I and raised by a single mother and having a close bond like Nia and her mother I can definitely say this book had me feeling this was about me minus the great erotic sex and pleasure but i will be lying if I said I didn't think about experimenting after reading this book 😏 two thumbs up I loved it !

Great read. I'm telling you I read this book and it satisfied my imagination! This book was wild and full of twists and turns. I loved the book all and all and I wish for some sort of sequel.

An Amazing Read!. It's been a few years since I've read an EJD novel but this did not disappoint. I fell in love with the writing style, the language and the characters and stuck on every word right until the very end. Highly recommended!

Bring back our norm. If you're a true EJD reader or an avid reader period, you're going to be disappointed by this one. Yes the sex scenes were steamy but the book lacked purpose. This book only had pieces of Mr. Dickey's usual style. Made me wonder if maybe there was a ghost writer on this book. It's okay to flop once, you've had plenty of other great books! You still have a follower in me.

Hated it. Not his best work. I've read all of his books and i thought this one had a lot of rambling. I love the Gideon series! I cant wait for a new one to come. But this book bored me.

Awesome. This book was awesome. It was worth buying and reading. I love all of Eric Jerome Dickey books, mainly the the ones that are filled with romance. The first book I ever read of his is Liar's Game. I let someone borrow it and never got it back. The only thing I would say negative about it is the ending just leave you hanging so I really hope there will be a sequel to this book. I would like to know if Nia get what she is looking for. Other than that it was great. Keep doing your thing Eric.

Ehhhhh. The book was descent. A little predictable and seemed to ramble a lot. Overall not bad skipped the last 5 pages, more drawn out than necessary.

Not one of the goodies. This book entirely too long for me to read. Usually an EJD book is 2-3 days. In this, the content and characters were just boring and bad. All the chapters sound the same except for the last five, when something actually happens. Overall, this book is just regular sex, mind-blowing sex, and just straight f--cking. Highly disappointed.

Pleasure. The book went on and on. Lots of inner dialogue...blah blah blah. But I still couldn't put the book down! It annoyed me, thought the main character was an idiot, struggled to relate. But still, the book was one of the best pieces of erotica I've ever read. Very stimulating...especially if big words turn you on.

Thought provoking. I can see a lot of myself in Nia. Relatable and a very good read.
