I love 💗 dork diaries. These are my favorite book series!

It’s okay but not my favorite. I liked it but wasn’t as much a family book like my mom reads to me and my sister which I love. So it is okay.😞😕🫤

Not trying to hate but... I read the reviews, I’ve seen the ratings. I have mixed feelings for this book. But let’s start with the positive side first.. 1) Nikki has a great sense of humor! 2) Nikki shows the stages of teen life Now what I didn’t like about this book.. 1) she’s spoiled! She has such an amazing life! She has parents who love her, the best bffs, and a crush who LIKES HER BACK! 2) The «SQUEE» is just.. no it’s too girly. And the «I wonder if he likes me back?» is also girly. 3) More diversity! We need more diversity! We don’t need just American kids.. we need Italians, Africans, Latinas/Latinos, and MORE! I hope that you understand and this is just my opinion! But overall, this is a nice book! Great job, Rachel.

Dork diaries review. I love dork diaries. Really fun to read,I don’t go in order but it still makes sense to me. I have the 12 13 and14 and now 1 on my phone.

Plz read-Oof... Might As Well SQEAL, RIGHT!? 😒. I guess the book was okay, but it’s a total ripoff of Diary of a Wimpy Kid. And there’s WAY to much squealing. And in Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Greg ( the main character) has a great sense of business, and worse things happen to him. Even if this book isn’t a ripoff, it’s still TRULY APPALLING. And the Art style... too Manga/gatcha-ish. And in only SOME of the illustrations do the people actually have hands, the rest are like mittens. You could have literally put in, like, two more minutes and all your characters coulda had real hands. There only little problems in this review, but a lot of them, and so I can’t give you a higher rating than two stars.... 😐

Fabulous. I love this book I highly recommend you reading this book.But also if your a younger person that can read I don’t recommend you reading this. Because it’s is something’s that you should not want to hear But a amazing book

READ THIS IF YOU WANT TO TRASH DORK DIARIES. This is a great book people say it’s too stereotypical but I’m a kid who just wants to enjoy a book, I know that all girls aren’t like that and all boys aren’t like that but do we really have to annoy a author of a CHILDRENS book about it! Rachel just wants to write a fiction book about a girly girl who gets bullied but deals with it! It’s ok if you don’t like something about but Rachel didn’t write a the Great American Novel, instead she wrote a witty, funny book that maybe somewhere someone can relate to! But if YOU want to keep write comments trashing it, that’s ok. Because I will be here living my life reading a five star book

Love this book. I remember when I was in elementary every chance I got I was in the library checkout one of your books to read I loved them and still do this really just brought back so many memories

Stereotypical girl material. To the people who will hate on my comment (and others who disliked the book): this is our opinion. Not yours to judge! We think a certain way about this book. We don’t like it. You might like it but you guys are just being bullies! (Thank you for addressing that slam a lamb a ding dong!) Why do I hate this book?: 1. The storyline line- it’s not imaginative and honestly, a 10 year old could write this.🥱 2. Pictures- the pictures are decent but the girls wear too much jewelry. They wear at least on necklace and two bracelets! 3. Diversity- there’s only one character in this series that isn’t white. Add some more diversity! 🧑🏻‍🦲🧑🏽‍🦲🧑🏼‍🦲🧑🏾‍🦲🧑🏿‍🦲 4. Nikki- she’s the main protagonist and she acts like one. She’s perfect and has no weaknesses and she only cares about her friends and herself. 5. Mackenzie- she’s the stereotypical girl villain, rich, mean, and popular. Get more creative! This book is targeted at older audiences, but it’s like training wheels for reading. Simple and easy. 😬 Also the way I got this book is from my sister. She got it as a gift from someone we barely knew. And if anyone knows my sister, they know that she’s a complete tomboy! She hated this book. I wanted to see how bad it was and boy…….. It belongs in a garbage dump being crushed (to put it lightly).

Not the best book. She seems to be one of those people that like to argue because: 1. She says very rude things to her “enemy” 2. She ALWAYS complains and she doesn’t seem ungrateful for anything 3. She’s mean to her mom and calls her “braindead” She’s one of those girls who demand things. I wonder how her “friends” survive her. Niki, in short, doesn’t sound like someone you should be reading about. Plus, who stalks their crush? I know it does seem very romantic but what if someone did that in real life? And she always DEMANDS things from her parents. That’s not a good example for girls. Also, read Nakoa134’s review. I agree with her

Mkh lemme address this. Ok so I didn’t really enjoy the book. It is classic middle school drama with terrible pictures and no moral or imagination whatsoever. Now to address the situation. We are not being rude if we give our opinion. If you like read the BOLD LETTERING you might notice where it says REVIEW. So we are not devils or spoiled brats or rude or bullies or blah blah blah. The only rude ppl are the ones pointing out the bad reviews and trash talking them. I know it feels like y’all who do that are doing the right thing, but it’s causing dumb drama, plus y’all use the terrible burns and “insults” from the book. Please chill. I am allowed to state my opinion. Welcome to the real world. Boom. I said it.

She is like….REALLY ungrateful because she says in the book that she wants to yell at her mom saying “I don’t need some STUPID DIARY” instead of the new phone like….your mom brought you something so be grateful. And like you’re mom can’t READ YOUR MIND SO SHE WONT KNOW what you want! And the girly style is SO NOT my type. And like she says her life is a “bucket of puke” like you have your own tv show! You went on a tour with a boy band and got art contest winner! I agree with I love my family. I just realized uni girl’s review okay ummm she’s so bratty and u wanna be like her!? I would hate to be her honestly. And I would ABSOLUTELY hate to wear Nikki’s ugly clothes.

Coincidentally odd/entertaining. Eh, I guess these books are okay, but it’s a little coincidental. I like them but I don't love them. Diary of a Wimpy Kid beats Dork Diaries for me because the way all of these books are written is kinda cringing me out. No judges towards the wonderful author, just all of the drama, acronyms and stuff could be the slightest bit less, “Jurassic” if you know what I mean. I have to admit, they are all entertaining a LOT.

I like this book please read reasons you should read. I am a writer. I have very good feelings for this book I understand that most of you don’t like the plot. But again I don’t think this is a rip off of diary of a wimpy kid because this series came out before and I like the illustrations they give me a general idea of what’s going on. Wrong!. This book is just wrong! The pictures are weird, the storyline makes no sense and when she says squee it makes me cringe so hard. Like, what middle schooler says that?! She is a spoiled brat. Honestly, like, my mom is brain dead? Who says that? Someone spoiled that is a brat! Duh! I feel bad for her friends. And let’s not even go to her wardrobe. It’s wrong for her to say words like, omg, squee. This book is a cringe fest. Would not recommend unless you would like to cringe 2000000 times.

READ THIS REVIEW NOW!!!. For all of you guys out there that didn’t like this book, I totally understand why. I just want to say that real teenage girls are an actually like this, aren’t obsessed with popularity or beauty or saying OMG and stuff. That’s a stereotype equivalent to saying that all guys like soccer and the color blue. So even though I did not particularly like this book, don’t hate on teenage women because we are not shallow and spoiled.

Well…. It’s a good book but it’s shouldn’t be for teens. I read this like In 3rd grade now that I’m older and reading this, it’s really annoying. Uni girl is just 7-10 maybe so I’m not even going to worry about what she writes but she shouldn’t be like Nikki. Nikki is super ungrateful and has very little morals. She only cares about herself cause she’s just doing random things that think it looks cool but is going to get her in trouble, Nikki calls her mom brain dead for not getting a phone, I mean of course you’ll want a phone but doesn’t give any rights to call the women who gave birth to u brain dead, saying squeeee and omg is childish, this book is not the actual experience for middle school, it’s not actual event you’ll go through, need more diversity, only Chloe is Latina and I think Zoe is mixed with black and white, the art work is ok, this is a kids book so of courses I don’t expect Pablo Picasso art, mean to Brianna, Brianna isn’t even bad shes a little kid after all, Chloe and Zoe are really good friends, Brandon obviously like her, she shouldn’t run away from her problems she should’ve just went to the office and told what Mackenzie did, Mackenzie isn’t even all that so nikki shouldn’t make the world revolve around her, and this book may be aimed for a younger audience but how Nikki handles things and how she acts is basically like Mackenzie if she is just a lower rank from her, Nikki also expects designer clothing at 14, like I have Michael Kohl’s at 12 but it’s because it was a gift and earned it, Nikki is just demanding it and she didn’t really do anything to deserve designer stuff and a phone, she only in that school from a scholarship from her dads company so nikki thinking her dad is rich,!demanding designer clothes is getting old, Nikki is ungrateful from what she has, she has a house, a family that does not neglect her or make her a disgrace, and she goes to a nice school with good education! This is my opinion and people saying things like “you shouldn’t say that” or something like that it won’t make me change my opinion, if u like the book, u like the book, if you don’t that’s fine too but it’s not like we’re going to be put into jail from stating an opinion. This is a good book but to easy and needs to be more realistic

Awesomely awesome. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these books. Nikki always finds a way to outsmart Mackenzie and even though Brandon and Nikki aren’t married yet i cant wait when they do. I haven’t read all of the books but i read most of them. And i love the fact each book has drama (literally all the drama from big mouth lip gloss addicted born with a shovel in her mouth gossip girl Mackenzie). Well... i only get the books from my school library and cant keep them as long as I want, so thats why i want the whole set for Christmas. P.S. hope you read this Santa :>

hi 🤠👍. DO NOT GET MY WRONG!!!!! I love this book series but there are some red flags…I gave this a three star review because 1) I DEFINITELY agree with Arnold ook when they say that they should add more diversity! I can only find one black person (I think only one) in the entire book. I’m biracial and I believe that it would be best if there was mixed ratio of blacks and whites. 2) I- I have no words… I struggle every day Nikki not only has fame, intelligence, a crush who obviously likes her back, AND her own tv show but she also has TALENT. That’s something I want SO FLIPPIN BAD. I swear im not being rude lol I just think that the writer is being a tad bit dramatic when they say “my life is the worst!” or “why is my life such a bucket of puke!?” 3) it’s. so. stereotypical. “SQUEEEEE” “OMG” “I WONDER IF BRANDON LIKES ME” “SOMETIMES I THINK MY MOM IS BRAINDEAD BC I CANT HAVE A PHONE” it’s a bit-yknow. I love this book. I love this book. The drawings changed. And it’s pretty good Rachel! :) But there are some things that Nikki need to change. When her parents went in her room, she just got really mad! My parents come to MY room to see if my zoom meetings are ok. And when I do my work, they come in and say “Abbygail, doo ok you need help” and I just say no cause I don’t need help. But Nikki.......She just YELLED at her parents to get out the room when they just wanna check on her. she also called her mother BAIN DEAD. Her mother tried her best! Not every parent can buy a cell phone! She needs to appreciate that her mother gave her a DIARY >:(! She needs discipline And Brianna, she is just scared and she wants to sleep with Nikki! A Bit Concerning. The book seems well intentioned, but it promotes a lot of unhealthy social behaviors. The main character and her “enemy” are always saying or thinking incredibly rude things about each other, and while it does frame insulting as a bad thing when the preppy mean girl does it, the protagonist is viewed as “heroic” when she calls the mean girl a “stupid airhead Barbie with a Cheeto-colored tan” or something else to that effect. Not a great message for young girls. Additionally, the main character practices stalking and other obsessive behaviors on her crush, which is seen as cute and romantic. Also a concerning message. The main character is also extremely rude to her parents with little to no repercussions. She constantly complains about things like her lack of a cell phone and inability to buy designer clothes at a young age. In later books, she even complains about the state of her parents’ car. Ungratefulness is definitely romanticized in this book series. Lastly, the main character is extremely vain and values popularity over everything else. Even though the story plays on her unpopular underdog aspect and always talks about how popular kids are jerks, the main character consistently bases all her actions around how cool it will make her seem. It really undermines any moral this story could have. The story is an interesting read for kids and has a cute art style, but the lack of morals is concerning.

Luv It? DON’T Luv it?. I honestly LOVE this book, I want the set of books in this series! There is a problem with the books though… (1) Nikki says a lot of insults. 🤬 She said her mom was BRAIN DEAD 💀?!! She should be a lot nicer than “I don’t want a STUPID diary with 367 BLANK pages!!!😤” (2) She is THE MOST SPOILED teen ever! She has popularity, an iPhone, a crush who OBVIOUSLY likes her back, a family who loves her, BFFs Chloe and Zoey, AND MORE! (3) She is OVERdramatic! She says HORRIBLE things about her life, about MacKenzie, and other people! CALM DOWN, Nikki! (4) “SQUEEE” is SO annoying. ………….. NOTE TO REVIEWERS: Ok. Nikki is whiny 😫, but she admits that in book four. She says insults, because she is trying to protect herself. See, she is still in her TEEN GROWTH state. REASONS I LOVE THE BOOK: (1) It is SO entertaining! If I’m bored 😐 I will read one and it will cheer me up! (2) Brianna is funny. Nikki does not realize that Brianna is like a mini her. Niki is like the female Greg heffley. Dork Diaries: Tales From A NOT-SO-Fabulous Life. This book was okay, but I have a few complaints. One is that Nikki Maxwell is very spoiled and she is a brat. She starts her first diary entry saying her mom is clinically brain dead! How spoiled is that? She also cries over a lot of things. She is so dramatic about the Avant-Gard competition and she cries over so much! So I liked the book but Nikki is a spoiled brat-and don’t even get me started on what she does to her sister every day!

Sooooooooo funny. I read all of the other books and Nikki has a wacky sense of humor and I love the art keep it up it’s so good omg I keep on reading this book if you haven’t heard of this book read it your going to love it 😊😇

Hm. Dork Diaries was an interesting book in my opinion. I can’t say though that I dislike this book, or like the book. I think that Rachel worked hard on this book. It isn’t easy to write,illustrate, and publish a book. I’d give up by the time I write the title. Anyway she did well and doesn’t deserve all these rude comments about her book. And by the way, Dork Diaries was made Before Diary of the wimpy kid. But there has been some language that isn’t suitable for young readers. I say 10+ should read this book. Bad language is spread out around the book. Nikki seems like she doesn’t have confidence in herself if you keep making her say “ My life is MISERABLE “ . Other than that this book in great and fun to read. Highly recommend. You rock Rachel ♥️

Hi. I like this series but... Nikki acts so ungrateful all the time!she is probably the luckiest girl in the world! She says her little sister is so horrible but I envy her because I have 3 brothers and no sisters! She should be grateful because I would give any thing to be in her place just for one day! What I do love about the series is that the drawing style got better and she still screams and squeeeeeeeees!!! A lot but she does get a bit more grateful. Also, the series is funny.(especially the firth one) have a nice day
