Great book soured by a lousy ending. I was hooked on this book from the first page when I came across it at the library. This author spent so much time developing the characters and laying out his complex story but then completely dropped the ball on the ending. It was so abrupt and sparse on story & details that it was like he got tired of writing and just wanted to end the book already. I was super disappointed because I was expecting the end to blow me away as the rest of the book had.

2012: The War for Souls. This book is such a great one. But not great enough. Because if this book is about the end of time, as in what can happen on December 21st of 2012, Not a fan of that! The truth is that the Mayans made that up. Nobody was judged on December 21, 2012, which is in the past! Nobody can predict the very end of humanity, either! The end of time will never, ever happen!

2010. Excellent twist on what will happen in the year 2012. The ending was lacking in substance.
