No.. Not good. Not interesting. Took me forever to finish. Nothing compelling here.

Just read it. You won’t regret it.. Once I started reading, I couldn’t stop. This book turned into a movie with every word I read. Finished it in less than a day.

Speechless. I read the sample before purchasing.. I knew ten pages into reading I had to buy it. The author did an amazing job of drawing in the reader. Hook line and sinker. Just wow.. this book is so very fked up. My head hurts trying to wrap my head around how tragic, violent and conniving this is written. There are so many plot twists in this book. Buy it. Buy it. Buy it. But be warned it may make you sick to your stomach. It’s appalling. The ending.. talk about plot twist. I’m now going to search for more books by this author.

Riveting and incredible. A journal, a mystery, a murder and a romance all rolled into one incredible page turning novel.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!. I haven’t read a book in YEARS, and I finished this one in two days! The emotion Colleen is able to provoke is mind boggling. This book was hands down incredible and definitely never lost my interest. From beginning to end I never wanted to put it down!

It was so interesting and all was good until that letter. It was so bad it was good but that ending ruined me.

Thriller for sure. This book is phenomenal very well written. Beware its a little explicit but not to the point of discomfort. 10/10

July 2023. This was so good. I honestly was so impressed with the author and how she created such crazy stuff.

Couldn’t put it down. The story is so captivating, hard to put the book down. Roughly 300 pages of cliff-hangers that leaves you wanting to keep going. Easy read with a great plot twist!

An absolute must read!!!!. Colleen has absolutely outdone herself ~ wow where to begin this book !!!! You will not be able to put this one down and it will stay with you long after you have finished reading it. As some say twists and turns well this book does twists and turns that will leave your whole body spinning and wondering what the heck just happened should I go back and read that again!!!! Well done is an understatement you will say to yourself self I thought I had the whole thing figured out and then you will say ummm🤔no I certainly did not. You will love this book just like all of her books exceptional.

Short story. I consider a book of 170 pages more of a short story. It had a lot of twists and turns but I’m probably not reading another…too many other better options.

Great author, great book. Colleen Hoover for the win, again! Storyline was very interesting and has me hooked for days, I could not put the book down. Honestly it has some real elements of horror because it’s subtly scary.

Excellent!!!. This is by far one of the best books I have ever read!!!

Guilty pleasure, suspenseful, and horrifying, all at once. This book gripped me from the first page; I couldn’t put it down. Read it in one night, which I haven’t done with any other book in a long time. The descriptions of feeling, creepiness and horrors come alive and reel you into a rabbit hole you didn’t know you needed to go down, and the unexpected ending really is the icing on the proverbial cake.

Gripping. If you like roller coasters, you’ll love this book lol

Woah. That was crazy

Wild ride.. Some parts I was kicking my feet and giggling, some parts I had to read with my ceiling light on. It was definitely entertaining, and eerie in a good ways.

Verity is Very Weird. Very very strange!!! Enjoyed a few characters but a good chunk of the book weirded me out. I give it 4 stars though.

Extremely interesting. I listened to the audio book. At first this book gave me the impression that there was no storyline, but as soon as you get to the middle the dots start connecting. The author keeps you on your toes. The genre gives romance and thriller because of the suspenseful characters and the mystery of it all.

Verity. I loved the book couldn’t seem to put it down. But the ending. I wish it had a better ending.

Missing most of the book. I paid for the entire novel but I only got 26 pages and it says finished?

Amazing!. I quite literally didn't put this book down. I completed it in less than 4 days after not reading for years. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking to get back into reading. The mix of thriller and romance are perfect. This book will leave you thinking about the ending for weeks!

Disappointing ending. A lot of build up for a disappointing ending. Some things don’t make sense. The main relationships feels kinda… not well written?

Great Summer Read. Great summer read. Suspenseful! I read it in 2 days!

Suspenseful Read. I have mixed reviews. I did enjoy the book. It was both suspenseful and sexual. It had just the right amount of love sprinkled throughout that pleased my romantic side. I will say that as a mother, it was hard to read the parts that I could never imagine a mother thinking or saying. I even had thoughts of not reading it anymore because the descriptions were disturbing for me. I did not give five stars because of this. As much as I love mysteries and psychological thrillers, I found myself questioning how somebody could write about children being harmed.

Absolutely Gripping. I could not put this book down. This is the first book I’ve ever read by Colleen Hoover, but it certainly won’t be my last. Although some details triggering and difficult to read, I still found that the book was gripping and had me turning page after page into the night hours. Who needs sleep?!

Brilliant. As an introduction to Colleen Hoover, I was awestruck by the mastery of her craft: thrillers A writer writing about two writers from all perspectives leaving the reader wanting to figure out what was the truth. I’m not sure I did.

Meh. It was meh. I thought there would be a big twist, I even thought up some that it could be the whole way excited to see what would happen but nope it had no twist, basically told you what would happen as you read it. Even the sex talk was blah. Honestly expected better from the other reviews.

Attention keeper !. I’m not much of a reader but I read this in a day, I could not put it down, and I’ve never said that about a book before 10/10. Spicy and keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Holy S**T I didn’t not expect this. My first COHO read and definitely did not disappoint!! This is more of a domestic & psychological thriller so it checked off everything for me at least. It’s got some hot and heavy descriptive moments but it was the perfect touch.

COULDNT PUT IT DOWN. Truly the best book I have ever read. I read it in ONE sitting which I have never done before. The plot twists are unreal and the amount of times I was screaming or putting the book down to calm down from my shock was uncountable. Highly recommend. Mixed romance with thrilling plot twists that make you unable to put the book down. However a very dark book . Don’t recommend for anyone under 16.

feeling disturbed and confused. the author evokes some strong feelings , but left me with ones I don't enjoy. I can see this being a very divisive book. Interesting and compelling, but ...the last bite of this book doesn't take good! I admire the author for doing it though and still enjoyed the walk there

VERY good, VERY disturbing. Absolute page turner, I couldn’t put it down. However, after I finished it I had extreme anxiety and it kept me awake for 4 hours. I wouldn’t recommend this book to anyone who struggles with mental health issues as there is a few triggering events. This may be a spoil but it’s worth mentioning that there is child abuse/neglect mentioned that made me physically ill. Such a change from Colleens usual writing & I’m here for it!

Disappointed. I loved It ends with us and November 9, I was so excited for a thriller because of the reviews but this book was boring to me, I was expecting to be up all night but it was disappointing.

Disappointing. Mediocre writing. Interesting character details that end up nowhere. Boring and shallow romance. Predictable plot twist. Rushed ending with an awkward sounding letter. And, again, mediocre writing. I was excited to read this book because of all the hype, and there were parts (So Be It chapters) that had me pretty disturbed (probably because I have a baby), but the ending just left me feeling blah.

Disturbing, but in the best way. This book almost had me crying and covering my eyes at some points, but I couldn’t put it down. Literally couldn’t go to sleep till I finished it. Have it 4 stars but more like a 4.5. Didn’t love the ending and some of it was almost too disturbing, but it’s also what makes it so good at the same time. Definitely recommend!

Mystery with sex. Really liked the twists and turns. The sex scenes seemed melded into the story and not extraneous.

Way to dark. Although this book captivated me right from the beginning , I really hated it! I found so much of it sickening and disturbing and the ending was ridiculous!
