This enhanced ebook edition contains exclusive video of Professor Cox elaborating on each chapter in detail. In Wonders of the Solar System – the book of the acclaimed BBC TV series – Professor Brian Cox takes us on a journey of discovery where alien worlds from your imagination become places we can see, feel and visit.

The Wonders of the Solar System – from the giant ice fountains of Enceladus to the liquid methane seas of Titan and from storms twice the size of the Earth to the tortured moon of Io with its giant super-volcanoes – is the Solar System as you have never seen it before.

In this enhanced ebook edition, watch ten exclusive videos of Professor Cox elaborating on each chapter in detail, revealing his personal favourite wonder of the solar system, and talking about how he shaped this book to include even more information than in the TV series.

In the TV series, Professor Brian Cox introduces us to the planets and moons beyond our world, finding the biggest, most bizarre, most powerful natural phenomena. Using the latest scientific imagery along with cutting edge CGI and some of the most spectacular and extreme locations on Earth, Brian will show us Wonders never thought possible.

Employing his trademark clear, authoritative, yet down-to-earth approach, Brian will explore how these previously unseen phenomena have dramatically expanded our horizons with new discoveries about the planets, their moons and how
they came to be the way they are.

Full price for these books?!. When the prices cease to make a mockery of the customer I will consider buying some books on here. As it stands it's a rip of. Apple, get your act together. Fast.

This book is amazing. It is full of amazing facts and goes into a lot more detail than the TV series. Although it is very technical, it is really easy to understand and is a pleasure to read. If you love space, this book is for you. The pictures and diagrams are also brilliant, it is worth paying a bit extra for the pictures

Great book!. But... The price is silly, where are there 2 versions? One at £12.99 and one at £14.99? Any how I have a signed copy of the hardback and it cost only £9.99!! Other than the pricing structure, this book is a great companion to the series by the same name, very interesting!

good read. I really enjoyed this book as much as the TV program Brian Cox makes science interesting and keeps me engaged which I would be the first to admit I have the attention span of a goldfish! Good work and thanks

It's good. Even if you've not seen the program, this is a nice book. Prof Cox's passion comes across....a recommend buy. For those who keep complaining about prices...get a grip the format of these enhanced books are brilliant and intuitive!

How much!. Would have happily paid a suitable for this 'book' but this is extortion! After all it's just a digital copy.

Excellent book. But you can go without the enhanced version. The videos are so small that the extra £2 is not worth it

The program was good so is the book. The program was good buy the book

£14.99???. £14.99; is that a joke? Another rip off on here.

The New Cosmos. I wonder if the one star reviewers actually bought the book. You're buying information, whether it's on paper or digital. It may be that the universe consists entirely of information, no matter in what disguise. And there's plenty of it in this eBook, certainly worth the price of a bottle of good wine. Treat yourself and get it. We live in an amazing world and this brings vividly to life.

Prices. For those complaining about the price, bare in mind this is the Enhanced Edition with extra video content designed specifically with the iPad in mind (you cant buy that in the shop can you.). The standard edition is available for £7.99 on iBooks
