I like it, but others don't.. I think that some other inexperienced readers out there may not like this book because the comprehension level is too high for them. (No offense)

Fantabulous. This book is one that people should look up and read. It's one of the best fiction books that are out there. What are you waiting for? This amazing book is AWSOME!

100 Words or Less. Oh, I get that Palma mimics the fictional style and pattern of his characters’ era. The ghosts of those classic novels are obvious in almost every page. So, yes, I understand. I just don’t like it. The wooden language. Addressing the reader. Literary flair that pops up, then fades away. When I read Verne and Stevenson and Burroughs, I accept the mechanics as a product of their time. What I can’t accept is this so-so imitation. I couldn’t get pass the third chapter, so I didn’t reach the core of the plot. Yet, I don’t feel I’ve missed anything.

The Map of Time. Awful book. One third done and struggling to finish it. I may expound later as to its many failures, but at this point I don't care to waste any more time on it. Bottom line - If you enjoy reading drivel thrown together by somone who has taken a few writing classes then this book is for you.

My Thoughts.... This book has a fantastic way of writing a science fiction novel, I really enjoyed it and would like to read more by this author. Even though it is science fiction it creates a almost true story, in a sense. I literally am a slow reader so I It took me a while to read it on my iPod but in the end it was a great book. And if your like me and your reading reviews first, WHY ARE YOU WAITING!!! READ IT ALREADY!!!! :)
