5 Stars!!!!. I don't usually read much unless I have to in school. I had to read The City of Ember and The People of Sparks. After I finished the second book, I immediately wanted to read the next book. I couldn't put it down. I recommend this book 100%!!!!!

Couldn't put it down!. Although some parts were a bit dragged; if you are into the ember series, this book is really like the bow on a present to tie everything. The epilogue told all about the rest of Doon and Lina's lives. The outcome was excepted but still great.

Loved the whole series but 1 thing. I wish you hadn't put about like what happened in the future because like now it will be harder for you to make another book about this series but I know one way you can you can like make a book if like an event affected that future and they don't have that future anymore or like maybe how they started dating or something

Such a relief. After crawling through the utterly underwhelming prophet of yonwood I gotta say i was worried this was going to be bad too. Nope, it's a terrific return to form, Lina and dune and all the other wonderful characters make their triumphant return to solve yet another mystery surrounding civilizations final moments. Literary genius? No. Entertaining and a fantastic finale to what should have been a trilogy, yes!!!
