Blood and Gold. This is a beautiful story, filled with love, agony, hope. Through Marius's eyes we see the splendor of ancient Rome, through the eras to present day. Anne writes the best tormented love story yet. I have come back to this story again and again and still she pulls such exquisite emotion from me page to page.
Great read!. Very good read. I absolutely adore the mixture of history with her characters.
