The River. This was a very good book very exciting. I did this book for school and I find that it was easy to remember for a test. It is about a 6 grade level book. I would greatly recommend this book to 4th, 5th, and 6th graders, and if you haven't read Hatchet (you need to read that to read this book). I greatly recommend Brian's Return, Brains Winter and Woods Runner.

Gary Paulson. Gary Paulson is one of the best writers ever.
Worth it. Even though I didn't buy it I read it for a book report from the school library and I hate reading and I couldn't stop reading this book BUT if you are going to buy this one buy Hatchet first which is the first book in the series and is also another book I could not stop reading. Gary Paulson is now my fav author. Good job Gary.

Great sequel to the Hatchet. Gary paulsen did a great job in writting this sequel. This book was so addicting that I finished it in two days. Again I thank you Mr. Paulsen for another great adventure.
