Young Adult book is one of this regular adult's favorite.. I think Jerry Spinelli did an amazing job With this story. The portrayal of such awful times through the blunt and Naïve mind of a child are nothing short of brilliant. I aspire to be an author as descriptive yet elegantly simple as him.

Incredible!. I think I can honestly say this is the best book I've ever read. Jerry Spinelli is an incredible author and this is one of his many incredible books. Milkweed, which I've read about 8 times, is an inspiring and emotional book and I was hysterical when it was over. It's a must read.

This book made me cry😭. It’s an amazing book, and it has a very happy ending. But, if you are one of those people who don’t cry during movies or while reading a book, then I wouldn’t recommend this book. But I really liked it, and I’m a ten year old.

This book is amazing. This book is amazing my teacher made up read it for school and I got it in my iPod and I've been reading it and the ending just made me cry, I wish he found Janina though.

Touches my heart. This book is part of my child hood, it is so emotional, it makes u want to cry, but in a good way....I think. Read it if u are a world war 2 fan, or just want to know more about what happens to jewish people in the Holocaust. It makes me wanna play Call of Duty: World at War just so I can play the Hero's

Memorable. I started reading this book at about 8pm once finished at 9pm. Now I am one of those people who doesn’t read books unless I like them. I read that boon in a hour and I read faster the better the book is. So as you can image I was very very happy and curious what he(Main protagonist) was going to do next. The setting is amazing, as is the story. The story is a deep cave you just wanna explore deeper and deeper. It’s one of my favorite books ever. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in history. And, you should always read more than once like I did I read that 2 years ago still reading it to this day.

Milkweed. This book- that I have read countless times and will continue to reread- never fails to break me down. It is both heartbreaking and beautiful, and I wish I could go back and read it for the first time again.

Excellent Read. I chose this book to read with a small group of advanced 8th graders that I spend lunch with once a week. We collectively broke the book down into four sections, planning to write reading responses and discuss the novel during our lunch meetings. I hadn't read it yet. I started it on a Friday night and ended up reading it in one whack! I am now wondering if my students are doing the same. A fabulous tale of survival that made me laugh out loud one page and cry the next. Spinelli does an excellent job bringing this piece of history to life. I am looking forward to hearing what my student have to say!

Milkweed. This book is tells a terrific story about a boy's life during the Holocaust. The story tells how the boy's life is confusing, love, crime and kindness. I recommend that teachers who are teaching their class about the Holocaust to read this book.

Milkweed. This book was pretty interesting. The only thing bad about it was that it was a lot going on. It was hard for me to explain the main idea of the book and it was hard to sum it up.

Milkweed by: Jerry Spinelli. I think this book goes beyond the old, original, and boring Social studies/history books. It uses imagination and sticks to history so kids (and adults) aren't confused by the data given. All in all, if you despiced books before you wont anymore after you read this novel. (Just a little side note: i'm an eight grader now, but i read this book in my 7th grade year... so best believe i was another simple minded teen who wouldn't dare read a book until Jerry S. came and given me this novel... I was very hesitant about reading

I can't get enough! They should make this a movie for the oscars!. We are reading this in class in 7th grade and I don't read a lot and I must say I would read this 10000000000000000000 times over and over again. I can't get enough! A favorite of my youth. I asked to take this from my English teacher before he donated a box and I’m glad I did. It’s a book I have read multiple times and as a kid I was inspired to draw pictures of some of my favorite scenes. It’s a good glimpse into the time period and keeps you wanting to read.

Milkweed. I picked up this book because I have always been fascinated with world war 2 and kids who survived. This book really made me feel grateful that I have so much in my life and people who love me and support me

I'm speechless. Of all the great books we read in school, this has to be one of my favoite. It really makes you think about all of the troubles that people went through, and how horrible these innocent people were treated. At the end of the novel, you can really see how the character changed, even if it's not an obvious one. Overall, one of Spinelli's best works.

A true masterpiece. I had to do a report for hs on this book and im so glad i read it. This book is truly a masterpiece, it gives you imagery, you connect with the characters and I cried in the end. The book never gets boring something new always happens. I will definitely re-read this book again
