Hauntingly plausible. Despite the gaps that the story appeared to have throughout, all is brought to light in the end. Daisy finally finds a home of love and acceptance only to be uprooted and wrenched away. In learning to survive, she learns to actually live again. She fights all of the way to the end in order to find her way back home and to offer the healing that was once given to her back to the giver.

I love this book!. I saw the movie before I read the book and loved it. I later found out about the book and read it as fast as I could. The book is as good if not Better than the movie. I read this 3 years ago and I read it every time I get the chance. like others have said, I cry every time.

Emotionally exhausting in a good way, exhilarating.. This book makes you feel happiness along with sadness, it's bittersweet in its own beautiful way. You're always hopeful for the characters in a way that you know they deserve happiness. I fell in love with the characters and the setting. I could read the book again and again for ages. I highly recommend it, it's a beautiful book to sum it up.

How I Live Now. This book is truly incredible. The writing is beautiful, the characters relatable, and the storyline superb. I definitely recommend this to every young adult reader out there. You will fall in love just as I did!

How I Live Now. My best friend read this book, and she INSISTED that I read it as well. That was a year ago, & I've read it 4 times since then. I cried at the end every single time. This book is a rare find. Not many authors can pull off the style of writing Meg Rosoff uses beautifully in this book. I highly reccomend this book to people who are looking for a good read and have an open mind.
