Simply Jesus is simply outstanding. I have been a Christian for forty years and this is the first time that my understanding of who Jesus was and what He is about was challenged in such a way as to make me grow spiritually. N.T. Wrights ability to place Jesus in cultural and political historical context and then to bring that forward and give it meaning for current generations is thought provoking.

Marvelous read. I really enjoyed N.T. Wright’s style of writing. This book walks you through how Jesus saw his mission and how there was a “perfect storm” two thousand years ago. I found myself going back to re-read passages just to soak it all up.
