Glock History. A good read.

Informative.. I did not know the Glock history. Great gun, an amazing creative man. Became corrupt, as the saying goes power and money have a way changing people.

Quick and compelling read; but tainted by author's bias. The historical aspects of this book are very interesting and worth reading by those who know nothing about guns, broadly, and Glocks, specifically. The history of the company is very intriguing, almost one of those "you wouldn't believe it if you saw it in a movie" kind of stories. However, the author gives us too much of his opinion on gun control. Though the book is generally moderate and doesn't overall have a defined pro or anti gun control bias, the author is very pointed in his beliefs at times which generally distracts from what is otherwise a good read on the history of a fascinating company.

Poor Fact Checking. While the book is a decent read, there are enough factual errors to cause me to question the accuracy of the remainder. In one case, concerning the "carrying case", the author is off date by a full decade. He also erroneously claims that Class 3 firearms require a special permit to own, which is false. The list goes on and I care not to list them all. While you will learn a good deal about Glock, you will never be an expert on the subject based off this book.
