A Distant Melody. I fell in love with the characters and didn't want to put the book down. The flow of the story was gripping and uplifting as well as intriguing. A book I highly recommend to any who enjoy a good, clean read. Wish I could have rated it higher than a five star.

Beautiful. This book is so touching and wonderful. I stayed up late reading it and finally finished. The characters are very endearing and this is a great first novel. If you like romance novels or Nicholas sparks movies/books, then you will love a distant melody. Read it!

A Distant Melody. There is nothing I could add to this review except to say I wish I could give this book a higher rating say like a six or seven star. Sarah is a wonderful writer. I feel like I was in that war with those airman. And reading about how things were back at home rationed sure reminded what we did as a child and also of air raids. Thank you for writing such a good book.

Lovely!. One of those books that you can't wait for the resolution, but also wish it would never end. Sarah Sundin has done a beautiful job of crafting believable characters and instilling a sweet story with a solid faith-based core. I'll happily read anything else she writes!

A Distant Melody. Great book and a wonderful cast of characters! I truly enjoyed the whole book and the growth of the characters. And I always love a Christian romance book but this is by far my favorite. The growth of the characters in Christ and many uses of scripture really makes this a memorable book. Carolyn Bickel

Great Read!!!. I bought this book on a whim, and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the writing and the way the story just pulls you in. If you like WWII era romance, then this book is for you. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down and I would eagerly anticipate the time when I could read some more.

Lovely but..... A really lovely story. I really enjoyed the setting of 1940's war time, something different. The only thing was the religious part of the story line was just a little too over the top. I do realise it was a different time and things were more serious in that respect compared to now. Still great characters and war makes for a fascinating back drop
