Dark Predator. Loved it! Can't wait for the next one! Good Book.

Excellent. Another great love story about a Carpathian male who harbors more darkness than light in his soul, and a young woman whose spirit calls to him. After centuries of brutal battles, Zacarias is a brutal, soulless, ruthless dark predator, who believes he is beyond saving. Margarita's love and unique gift with animals enables her to see past zacarias's barriers, to the real man buried deep. This is a complex love story about good and evil, with a twist....it's also about learning to believe in oneself, and that not all things dark are necessarily evil if one has the courage to see beyond the surface.

Another great Dark. Can't wait for the next book in the series. I love this series.

Smh. We have waited and anticipated the story of the last De la Cruz brother finding his lifemate. This was a let down. I was rooting so hard for this one. Spent a lot of money for a hard cover copy. No ma’am Mrs. Feehan. This could have been so much better. Where was her gift? He didn’t take her to a cave and even try to court her. She had no backbone at all. And push come to shove if she had no material there could have been a small brothers reunion and their lifemates. Great vampire fight tho. Only he could have destroyed that one. Ahhhh!!!!

Feehan does it again!. In the latest of the Dark Series, Christine Feehan once again ensnares the reader in the magical world of Carpathians. The oldest of the stunning De La Cruz brothers is literally ready to seek the dawn when the woman he saved earlier comes to his aid. As both learn to deal with the magic pull between them, they are faced with attacks by both "The Society" and a power-hungry Manilov brother. The climax is an epic battle between one of the greatest of the Carpathians and a cunning and ruthless vampire. The tale is well written and engaging and fans will appreciate the complexity of the love story. Fire and ice collide in one of Ms. Feehan's most well written novels to date. I cannot wait to read the next installment.

Ok. This is my least favorite of the series. The characters did not seem to be original just copies of previous ones. It was a little too predictable.

Awesome Book!!!. I love this book as well as all the others I have read. As always anxious to read another one!!

Good Story. I really enjoy this series, but I have to admit that this wasn't my favorite. Parts were very good while other parts that I would have expected the author to flesh it out based on past books were bland and not as clear as usual. However, if you enjoy the series I would recommend this book. If this your first attempt at reading the series read an earlier book first or much of the story line will be missing.

Bad. I waited a long, long time for this book, "Dark Predator" to come forth and I was so disappointed. Come on now...so preditable, so humdrum and his lifemate boring. With this last book, I am not excited to ready anymore of this series. I think it is time for the series to end with a new book entitled, "Dark Endings" or "Dark Foreclosure". Just have a final meeting of all the Carpathians and all of the vampires and have a final battle and call it a day or a night. And end it...they lived happily every after...THE END.

Could be better.. I truly hope this is not the end of the series but the story of course gets three out of five stars. We all should not be surprised by the violence. Zacarias has lived so long, gone through such troubles and has kept the light of himself. His lifemate has done something that no one else could, she is keeping him from the darkness, even if it comes with a price. He deserves love, happiness but truth be told, as good a job as Christine Feehan tried to do with this novel, she did not touch the base of the man we all expected a great story from. Having read all the novels back to back, I'm astounded she made such an unruly mistake as to give him someone who's not perfect for him. She's disobedient yes but he needs that, she simply forgot to give the woman a backbone in which she needs to stand up to the unruly predator. It's humdrum but I sat through because I needed something to read on my iPad during a flight. OVERALL: 3/5 stars Miss Feehan did her best but she had mistakes. More than once descriptions change as did this magical old language. It needs a rewrite with hard editing but not so much that it changes the story. A woman with such talent should know better than to give this man a woman who does not suit what he needs. *~*~*~*Miss Black*~*~*~*

Good. Good book. Worth the price? Maybe, but I have read several equally good FREE books.....

So-so. There are shining moments in this book, but sadly not enough to redeem it. Zacarius is not so evil that he cannot be redeemed, he will never be whole because his lifemate will never be. It is great set-up for maybe his downfall in a later book. As a stand-alone book, not so impressive. There are some beautifully emotional moments, but moments don't make a whole book. Worth reading, but maybe borrow from the library.

What The....? Huh!!! 😱😱. By the end of the first chapter I wanted throw this book in the fireplace. Only two things stopped me: 1. The obscene amount of money I paid for the hard back and 2. I don't have a fireplace. The Delacruz brothers have always been one of my favorites. And her previous books about them were amazing. But this one was such a huge disappointment. How could she write such a horrible story for a man who had gone through so much. As a result of this story have had yet to read the others; even Skylar and Dimitri's and I've been waiting years for that one.

Dark Predator. Christine use of the English language, sentence structure and flow had me fascinated. The main idea and the dialogue of the characters really get DDS into your heart. I have read her work before but, nothing got me like this time. May be my own state of mind... ***Only one detail it was kinda annoying in reading the misspelled of the name MARGARITA. Since Spanish is a phonetic language we have to pronounce as is written and MargaUrita sounds out of place.(Sorry but as a Bilingual teacher) my feed back is well intended.👋🏻😘

Repetitive. Not as strong a story as I'd hoped for this character. Very repetitive, like readers would forget what and who he is. Excellent fight with the vampire.
