North & South. Having studied the American Civil war at university, I would recommend. Brilliant for the price and covers all the key points of America's bloodiest conflict.
Successfully does what it sets out to do. Although it seems to be a book written by committee, with lots of repetition and redundancy, this is a good resume of the American Civil War, especially for those who already know a fair bit about it.
