Good book. Good book. But. iPhone users can’t read kindle books (or any sequels to your books that are only available on Amazon). I’ve tried downloading the app, and it just says it’s only available on kindle. Kindly requesting copies be available on iBooks as well if possible.

This deserves 0 stars. For many reasons. The author has no knowledge on the Marine Corps, and continued to call them “soldiers” the entire time. Kenji was “a sniper” not a 0317, he also served in Iraq and Afghanistan (and he’s served only 2 years?) and was still a Private? Absolutely 0 research had been done in that area. He also didn’t make a tourniquet out of his belt for Officer Dennis, crazy. Not to mention, the writing is sloppy. It’s not immersive at all. You basically have to imagine everything yourself. There’s no real emotions in anything. Like for one, they straight up killed a guy in the holding cell and the police officers weren’t concerned? Jack thought he was supposed to just walk out of the police station after basically self defense murdering a guy? They have no real human emotion. I really wanted this to be a good story that didn’t make me cringe, but I just can’t turn another page. How does a 2 year private, in the marine corps, get deployed to Afghanistan during these times. How does he have “over 100 unconfirmed kills”. What is this. I hate it. This is the worst. Do not read this if you know anything about the military because it will disappoint you.

A little light on detail!. I haven't even finished the book yet but it seems a little rushed to me. For example, you'd surely give some thought to your family when trying to save yourself? Also the spelling and use of apostrophes is very poor.

Great!. Amazing book, I read I till the end and it was great. The only thing that was bad about this book is the fact that the ending was a little rushed but other then that this book is perfect!

Praise. Wow... I applaud you sir or more like I shout and scream like a new crazed fan 😂 it only took me a day or two to finish and I’m distraught at the fact that I can’t find extinction level (book 2) anywhere. This book just grabs you right from the get go and doesn’t let you go until you finish it and then like any drug it has you needing more. I’m a huge fan of apocalyptic books and movies and I love when a book can just make you feel like your the main character like instead of reading your experiencing everything that’s happening which makes everything more captivating. Honestly can not wait till I find the other books in this series 😂 y’all read this, you may think “oh well you know that she obviously survives by reading the first chapter” but once you stop concentrating on that little nugget, you get sucked into how everything is put into a “real” aspect and how things would no doubt end up happening if something like this did happen here in Australia. Anyways I’ve rambled a bit 😅 praise to James Harden you are very skilled at what you do and I’m glad I stumbled across your book
