Three and a half stars. Decent book. Unfortunately had a tough time connecting with main character, Hadassah, as she just seemed way too good to be true.

Gripping series. This is a very gripping series that pulls you into a world of Christians being tourtured and yet a great love story as well. I absolutely loved the series. She's a great author.

The romance never hurts as it’s always refreshing. The mark of the lion series are my absolute favorite novels. You won’t regret it.
