This is an appeal from a judgment terminating the parental rights of a mother and a father to two minor children. The father did not appear at trial and does not appeal the termination of his parental rights. The mother, in four issues, challenges the legal and factual sufficiency of the evidence to support the trial courts termination findings. Under the applicable standard of review, we conclude that no reasonable fact finder could form a firm belief or conviction that the mother engaged in the conduct described in subsections 161.001(D) and (E) of the Texas Family Code, upon which the trial court based its termination judgment. Because the evidence is legally insufficient to support termination of the mothers parental rights, we reverse this part of the trial courts judgment, render a take-nothing judgment as to termination of the mothers parental rights, and remand the case for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.
