Worth v. Jackson Book Reviews
Worth v. Jackson by United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Book Summary
Jibril L. Ibrahim, who is serving a life sentence in a federal penitentiary, filed a pro se suit against the District of Columbia, the United States, and federal prison authorities claiming they denied him adequate medical treatment for Hepatitis C and prostate cancer. Ibrahim appeals the District Courts dismissal of his claims on the grounds of res judicata and lack of federal subject matter jurisdiction. We reverse in part the District Courts order and remand for proceedings consistent with this opinion. We also grant Ibrahim leave to appeal in forma pauperis.
