Amazing!. This book is not just a great resource but it's also a great read for those interested in the app takeover of smart phones. Another positive is the interactive nature of the book. Being able to link directly to outside content allows the author to fully immerse you in a topic area. Way better than a paper book. Nice work!

Nice historical look at the App Store. Although I'm not an app developer I do like apps and really liked this book. The books takes a look at the decisions Apple made regarding the App Store that made it the success story it is today. It starts there and then looks at a bunch of apps to extract marketing lessons. If I was making an app this would be a great reference book to use as a guide. Still is stands on its own as a history book on the App Store. Highly recommended and a breeze to read.

Great for developers, would-be developers and app enthusiasts. I'm a developer, a one-man company, and I loved the book. The book addresses not only developers and aspiring developers, but also people interested in the evolution of apps as we know them now. It's an easy read, well-written, covers the key points of the history of the app store, iPhone, iPad and some of the more popular apps. A lot of general, but good advice to people wanting to start developing their own apps as well as developers wanting to promote their own apps. The book describing some of his favorite apps. For .99 it's a steal. Hopefully Luis will write more books filled with more detailed tips and tricks for developers.

GREAT read!. This book is a must read for any app enthusiast. I purchased some of the apps mentioned in this book and cannot believe I didn't hear about them before this book. If you love apps, and everything to do with them, check this book out!

Great history of the app store. I love the first chapters in the book talking about the app store's history. I also really enjoyed reading about some of the apps that went wrong big time. Interesting read.
