Mit dieser umfassenden Caruso-Studie gelingt es dem Autor, bislang unbekannte Zusammenhänge zwischen Lebens- und Karriereereignissen erstmals deutlich zu machen und dem Leser ein lebendiges Bild des Sängers und seiner stimmlichen Entwicklung in den 25 Jahren seiner unvergleichlichen Karriere zu vermitteln.
