A Heart Consuming Tale of Healing. The gentle cadence of Carey's voice in the audiobook version took me to the 100 Acre Woods where she and her sister survived a life children are never meant to live. It captured me and took me through their story with emotions ranging from sadness and fear to hope and finally a feeling of belonging. I highly recommend this book...these charactesr...this journey... "You can't stay in your corner of the forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes." ~ Piglet

If You Find Me, found. I read this book years ago, and fell in love with it. I was on vacation, though, and left it there- and forgot the name. And I just found it, three years later! It's absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking, as well as complex. One of my favorites, definitely. Even the use of poorer English in the writing to reflect the narrator is just wonderful. Rereading right now.

The strength someone could have for another. This book was amazing, and every feeling u can imagine to feel why taking ur mind to place where u might not want to go but u find the strength in urself like these to young girls to get it done.I love this novel. Awesome job Emily Murdoch 2 thumbs up! Can't wait for more in the future.

This book will shake you to your core... I wanted to stop reading it as I started to get into the horrific details but I couldn’t! I had to know that there would be a silver lining for the poor characters in the story. Not only does this shine light on how any kind of abuse or child neglect can affect the lives of so many! I wanted to give this book no stars cause of the horrible images it put in my head but to think that things like this happen everyday and for so many it’s not a story with a happy ending. I advise a warning before reading this..

If You Find Me. Read it in 3 days!!! Only put it down to go to work! Very well written, the way she writes about the beauty in nature was beautifully descriptive. I cried whilst reading it several times. Heartbreaking to read about the characters hard lives but such a great ending. ❤️

WOW!. 5 stars are not enough for this book. I couldn't put it down. The characters come to life, even down to Shorty. Would recommend this to anyone! One of the best I've ever read. Couldn't wait to finish it, but hated when it was over. Amazing first novel!!
