Meh. Not too inspiring or even thought provoking. Just ramblings of a drunk, I suppose. I know a lot of people, mostly addicts, who fancy their creativity is magically enhanced while intoxicated but usually the opposite is true. I'm not intending to sound judgey, or to diss his expression of art, but perhaps the authors writing would be better if he were sober? I dare say so.

One is my autobiography. Quite a humdinger that one is! I am well educated but that doesn’t necessarily mean common sense. In life or love or my love life ha! I ramble. ... I digress. For that matter the point of this note is to let you know that you have inspired me young man. I think you are a young man. I don’t remember. My memory is gone. You’ll have to buy the book to see why. I need more than that 5 bucks that you bought your beer with as my palate is a bit more refined. I jest. I do hope that this note finds you well and blessed. Thoughts. Very inspiring! Creates a new type of self love and value

For real.. I understand this on a very personal level. I greatly appreciate the exposure of flaws and 100% honesty and flow of thought because even though we’re imperfect that really is who we all are. The appreciation in this work is something I think everyone should relate to at some time in their life.

It was exactly what I needed but not what I expected.. I was looking for a good poem, one to make me think, laugh anything to not only pass time but to enjoy. I thought it was going to be funny or stupid so I tried it out. It was beautifully worded and everything I could have wanted in a poem. My favorite was the last one☺️

Thank you for your truths. Something I admire about reading and writing is the pure honesty behind it. I’m intrigued with the way you made me feel knowing my altercations with alcohol. The simplicity behind your words spoke BIG amounts of truth and I very much so enjoyed your sets of words.

Best way to describe my art.. I wish this would've been longer. Best one yet to read more. Best way to describe a generation of your own. After all love yourself before anyone else will make you see love in such a different way. ❤️

Extraordinary. You would think that an intoxicated person would write a lot of random thoughts that are incoherent and unnecessary, but this disproves that. Some parts of this book really make you think about how art should be shared and created more often. I've really enjoyed this book.

Coming from an alcoholic poet.. I thought you had some beautiful lines. I definitely want to look into your poetry some more. I would’ve loved some hungover poetry too. The deep emotion of feeling like you’d rather die than sit in the back of a cab on you way to work... ??? If I definitely liked the mention of the “generation” and you’re metaphor for using a car rather than walking spike volumes. Probably my favorite part about the piece. Well done.

I Got Drunk and then Poetry. I loved this piece of writing. It was short but also captured the struggle of artists struggling to pay the bills while also pursuing their passion. It dissects the stereotypes of poetry writers as hipsters when they are really just part of a movement, writing how they feel. It is a yell at society to treat millennials with respect and dignity and creatives souls alike.

Even though it’s 16 pages it was Amazing. I liked how this person created this poem it was inspiring in a way, as the poem creates a new perspective. But I wish that this book had more pages to be provided because if it did I would like to read more.

A good read. I was skeptical to read at first but after reading a few lines I started to connect with the writers vision. Definitely worth a look.

almost. he was just barely touching the surface, teasing. i was craving so much more by the end of it. but i guess that’s the point of it being so short. regardless i loved it and it was free so? can’t complain.

Makes me feel encouraged. Let's face it, we are our own harshest critics--I am very guilty of that. And sometimes it helps to have a little bit of a reminder that it's best to give yourself more credit. If drunken poetry is what it takes, then so be it! Amazing and can't wait to read more!
