Great. This story was really good. It was a very short quick read. It's great for just being in line waiting for something. It's great(: I wish it was longer!!

Seriously?. Started out good...very spooky....then nothing! Didn't realize it was one chapter and incomplete at that. A two minute read that goes nowhere.

It was awful. Title says it all. Wasnt scary at all. It was more stupid than scary.

Scary. I was freaked out because I was picturing that deer in my head! *shutter* very good horror short story though. Wouldve liked a little more detail on the monster thing but oh well. Good read if you want to be spooked

STUPID.. I'm sorry, but why did this get such good reviews? This has to be the WORST ending to any story I have EVER read. Like the author stopped writing for the night but never came back and finished the story. I'm actually ANGRY that I wasted my time reading this!!

Hmmm.... I think this story has potential. I just wish there'd been a bit more of a plot once he hit the woods. Decent short story. Look forward to hopefully reading a novel from this author some day.

Love this story!. If you like the style of writing where you are left to figure some stuff out like the monster then this is a very good read! Also, the writing is SO descriptive, like I could picture and imagine everything. Please have some more FREE books ;)

This book is fantastic. I loved almost every part about this book. The only default is that i wish it was longer.

Had Potential. I hate giving poor reviews, because you already did more than I could have. If you wanted to keep it a short story, you still could have with a dozen or so more page. It reminded me of an "Urban Legend" that didn't have enough suspense. I needed to be scared and curious a little while longer. With a couple of more incidents before he met his demise you would have been on your way to something really good. Keep on writing, you have the potential for 5 stars.

Fantastic. I've read several entries from this author and enjoy his writing style, this short story however, takes the cake. Intense and well written; it keeps you wanting more without leaving you with too many questions unanswered. I highly recommend this quick read.

And there were no cars on the road.. Good small story, makes you realise why you feel like you do when alone in the woods at night. Only problem, not long enough and no real explanation as to what happened or what the thing was!
