Penny decides she has feelings for Eli but she don’t know if she can be with a military man since her father died when he was deployed a while ago. Great 4 1/2 Star Read. Eli is an ex Navy Seal working at Silver Springs Ranch and a black ops contractor waiting for his next mission. Penny heads to a night out with her friend whence sees her cheating ex, with her ex bf back in town. Sitting by Eli, she asks him to play along as her date and he agrees. What starts as flirty fun, turns into one night, then more. But they both believe this can't become anything more. Eli has a dangerous job and Penny doesn't date military men. But can they resist? Sizzling, steamy, some drama, action, and HEA, this was a solid read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Penny & Eli💕. I loved this book. The characters of Penny & Eli both are brave & beautiful. The guts it took for this pair to have the jobs they have is amazing. Penny’s story before she meets Eli shows a woman of great determination. The characters didn’t want to start off romantic, but fate had other plans. The way they fit together and Eli has all those prospective instincts. Needless to say, this ends with an HEA but what an awesome journey to get there!. OMG… Eli… Swoon…. Penelope sees her ex in their local dive bar - to maintain face, she turns to the hot guy beside her and asks him to pretend to be her fake boyfriend. Eli is the hot bad boy beside her, and these two set off first alarms when they hit the dance floor… and then the bed… and then the kitchen counter… Wow, Eli is good for a girl’s self-confidence, I loved how brave Penny was with Eli, voicing her desires. These two may be Silver Springs hottest couple to date (both steam and tears were produced) - I just loved this book.

Everything a romance should be. What a lovely story, so full of emotion. It was funny and sweet and sad and heart wrenching. I cried through a chapter but then the ending was so lovely and perfect I cried happy tears. Two people with the same views come together for a one night stand. Steamy and so hot they can’t keep their hands off each other but is it enough to keep them together or does love make everything different. Great read.

From fake relationship to forever. From fake relationship to forever. This book gave me so many of the things I love to read: a military hero, a fake relationship with too much chemistry not to be real, a sassy feisty heroine I could connect with, and a cat with so much personality he stole the show. I adored seeing the way Penny and Eli came together, particularly the way they handled her terrible ex. There was a little bit of an ‘opposites attract’ vibe between them since they wanted such different things from their lives, except, at the heart of who they are there was actually a lot of similarities. Jam was my absolute favorite character. It might be because I’m a cat person, however I tend to think it’s because he was just such an awesome creature. I may have only just finished reading this book, but I’m already itching to get my hands on whatever’s going to come next in the series. (And it breaks my heart to think that we’re almost to the end of it.) I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.
