Love JLA. Man do I love this author and have for years, but this book was awful.

Armentrout does it again. This book. I can’t. The spice level is high, the world building is excellent. The last 100 pages are action packed. I truly enjoyed immersing myself in this world. This book is giving me horrible hangover vibes. I’m dying for the next book. 5 stars, if your an ACOTAR fan, this should be right up your alley.

Fantastic. Oh I don’t know why I do this to myself, reading a book when the second hasn’t been released yet… Anywho, was a wonderful book that I devoured in less than 8 hours. Great writing and an even better plot, I sincerely enjoyed myself and can’t wait for the next book release!

WARNING: do not read to cure a book hangover. After tearing through all the Maas series, I was dying for more fantasy but not necessarily Fae, if that makes sense? And let me tell you… This is magnificent. Well thought out, great world building, good characters. “Realistic” in a sort of fantastical way in terms of relationships and how people act, if that makes sense? But the cliffhanger, y’all… UGH. 😭

Genuinely good. A lot of similar style books do exist but this novel does everything right, the tropes, the characters, the story, just a good read overall. Can’t wait for the next one, I’ll be keeping my eye out.

Jennifer does it AGAIN!. Okay I’ve read every series Jennifer has put out and I have loved them all. Some more than others, but THIS starting book is absolutely fantastic! I couldn’t put it down. I liked the story line and it kept me guessing. My only complaint is it wasn’t long enough haha!

My favorite by her. Jennifer Armentrout writes great series, but I often get frustrated with the paragraphs upon paragraphs of her characters pondering the same things over and over. This book didn’t do that, and it was awesome. The story was interesting and well-paced. Yes it has similar aspects to some of her other books, but it was unique in that she created a brand new type of supernatural being. I loved it and can’t wait for the next book.

Ok. Very similar characters to all authors other books. Nothing new here. She even used the same terminology and lines.

All i can say. Is fictional men written by women are… *chefs kiss*

My newest downfall. Love this book. Great start to a new series… I just wish more books were available!

Nothing happened….. By the time the plot finally picked up and it seemed the story was progressing, the book was over. The vast majority of the book was just repetitive dialogue and the heroine walking around. I know a lot of people read this author for the smut, but I really expected that there would still be, you know, an actual story in between the sex scenes. Also the author uses waaaay too many ellipses. I don’t remember her other books being written like this.

Loved it. I have been provided with a copy of A Fall of Ruin and Wrath from the author/publisher through NetGalley and I am voluntarily leaving an impartial review. This is the first book in the brand-new Awakening series and let me just say what a fantastic way to start off a new series. I was just drawn into this world with its outstanding characters. I was just captivated by everything taking place and I just didn’t want this story to end. I’m just speechless. This book was just so good and that ending oh my gosh I need another book immediately.

Loved it. A wonderful new series and new world. Couldn’t put it down. Exciting, imaginative, outrageous, sexy, with bad guys that are also good guys, bad guys that are just evil and a new heroine, Clarista, making bad choices and yet getting it right and being loyal to her friends and conscience. The hero, Thorne, is not typical who is a bad guy yet also a good guy and has a conscience. Thorne is gorgeous and sexy and enjoys teasing his woman and scaring the bejesus out of everyone else. Anxious for the next book in the series as this first one ended on quite the cliff hanger.

Why is it so short. She don’t miss, awesome world building and interesting new magic world that is delectably creative

Awesome. Unbelievable plot and so much suspense. I am on edge waiting for the second book to come out.

When is the next one coming?. Loved it! Read it in 2 days. Can’t wait to discover all the characters in future books. The only complaint is that it felt short. It was like an introduction without getting into real character development. It felt like she’d written a book twice as long and decided to just release 1/3 of it. Still can’t wait to read more.

Boring. This book was not it. Extremely short and boring. Not worth the $15 this book cost.
