Great Book as told by the Killer himself. I think this was a great book about The Watts Family. I love that Chris Watts wrote letters and met with the author in jail. I truly believe that his letters do tell truth of how he annihilated his family.

Very detailed and presents the facts in the words of Chris. This book was very well written and I like how the author uses letters from Chris Watts himself to tell his disgusting story. This man is a monster and his motives for killing his family are awful. I really appreciated the facts and respect shown to the family of Shan’ann. The Watts didn’t want this book published but I’m glad it was. They need to accept what their son did and stop hiding behind their hatred for poor Shan’ann. Great read!

A poorly written train wreck.. I’m not a writer, but the writing in this book is absolutely abysmal. It is riddled with grammatical errors and redundant words and phrases. Pacing? Forget about it. Topics change and repeat with no rhyme or reason. I felt like I was playing a game of whack-a-mole and I am extremely familiar with this case. Ironically, Chris’s letters are far more coherent and well-written than the painful vignettes written by the author. I suspect Chris’s letters can be found on a subreddit, so I’d advise going straight to them in order to bypass this travesty.
