When a valuable item is stolen during a gathering of coin and currency enthusiasts, Meg’s library turns into a crime scene—again—with accusations flying between two prominent coin collectors. This time, Meg is determined to let the police handle things; she’s a librarian, not a detective. That is, until a body shows up in the library’s book drop—and the police decide Meg is their prime suspect. 
 
Once more, Meg is forced to take matters into her own hands. Marshaling her book club, her flaky actor brother, and her indomitable “Aunt” Dorothy, she puts her mad research skills and natural sleuthing ability to work finding the true killer before more patrons are dropped dead—into her library. 
 
Book Drop Dead is the second book of the Meg Booker Librarian Mysteries—a cozy library mystery series set in the 1980s.
