Good story. Better than I expected. Looking forward to reading more books from this author .

C. I must be more vigilant about avoiding books that are only part of a series--especially when, like this one, you don't even get a complete story. The story you do get would have benefitted greatly from an editor. Biggest complaint is the failure to pick a POV and stick with it. If you want to hear what everyone is thinking, you opt for omnipresent, you don't bounce from one character's first-person voice and back again. It's annoying and confusing, and ruins the flow. An editor also should have found errors like "the forest was teaming with life." What, like the Cubbies? Or maybe you meant "teeming," as in a large quantity? Could have been an okay story but given the non-ending and the fact the story is left hanging in mid air, I'm just angry to find I've wasted my afternoon on it.

Great read!. Great easy read. Can't wait to get the next book.

Surprise!. I started reading this book because I was bored.I didn't even think I would like it very much, because I don't typically like fantasy stuff with witches and shape shifters...but surprise! I loved it and finished it in one sitting!!!! Going to buy the next book right now!!!!

Loved this book. This book was really good. I was trying to find a good book after reading Reflected in You and I found this book. I read it in one sitting and knew that I found a good book to read. Unfortunate IBooks doesn't have the rest of the books so I'll have to look for the rest on Kindle.
