Storyview Falls, Small Town Meets Fairy Tale Retelling. 3.5 Stars I'm a sucker for the grumpy/sunshine troupe and Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite fairytales, so clearly this was a must read. This was a cute read with a little spice and some good banter. This author always writes sassy (and fierce) heroines, so it was no surprise the Isa is the ways she is. I had expectations of how Adam would be portrayed based on other retellings of this fairytale, and I was surprised, in a great way, that he didn't meet those expectations. The beginning of the story seems to fly by giving it intsa-love feels. While this is a rom-com, there were some really emotional moments that were heart breaking and heart warming. My only issue with this story is a subplot involving a takeover of Adam's company that I didn't understand how it played into the flow of the story, what it's purpose was because it really doesn't drive the story forward. I'm excited to see where this series takes us.

Cute & Steamy. There’s tension, there’s comedy, there’s frustration, there’s cheesy, and there’s some rated x. Love how this story played out!

Rip my brain cells. Loved the plot idea but execution was horrible, poorly written I couldn’t even finish the book. I had a friend read as far as I did in the book just so we could talk about how awful it is.

Solid 3 out of 5. A nice story, if predictable. The author writes lovely stories but leans towards idioms (“licked him to death”) making the story lack some necessary depth. However, the characters were (became) likeable enough and I, for one, was happy they got an HEA.

The Billionaire and The Librarian. Good book and surprising steamy parts. Adam and Isabelle are good together. A very enjoyable read.

Fable retelling. Nice retelling of Beauty and the Beast where things get metaphorical and the characters overcome real issues. Nice hints to the Disney version.
