Jack is a single dad to an 11 year old daughter and he is the Chief of Police in the small town of Gossamer Falls. Rosalie is scouting Gossamer Falls for a music video shoot. She gets snowed in and meets Jack. They spend the night together. When Rosalie’s boss selects Gossamer Falls as the location Jack needs to tell Rosalie about his daughter. Neither Jack nor Rosalie has believed in love before. Will the magic of Gossamer Falls change their belief in love? Will Jack and Rosalie find love and happiness in Gossamer Falls?

They both are packing baggage. They both are packing baggage… I liked this book. Jack is a single dad after his divorce and he’s also the chief of police of Gossamer Falls. He meets Rosalie when she’s passing thru on a scout (note, a location scout would actually be the one to find a loc for a music video). Rosalie has abandonment issues after her pops hit the road. She’s only too happy to hook up with Jack. It’s not until later that she realized he’s got a kiddo. Recommend.

There’s magic in the air. One Enchanted Evening the fabulously magical second book in the Gossamer Falls series. It can be enjoyed as a stand-alone read, but you’ll be so thrilled with its small town charm, I think you’ll want to read book one as well. Single dad, chief of police Jack definitely isn’t looking for love or even a real relationship. Been there, done that, with the divorce papers and a newly engaged to another man ex-wife to prove it. While instantly attracted and drawn to emotionally to Rosalie, a temporary visitor from NYC, neither wants anything more than one night. We all know how that works out, thank goodness, because this engaging, adorable and spicy story was great fun and also tugged at my heartstrings. I instantly fell for them both and read the book in one sitting…and stayed up way past my bedtime! Tara Wyatt created characters it was easy to root for, great dialogue and sprinkled magic in the air all around them. I loved it!

Magical Gossamer Falls. If you are looking for a witty, sassy, LOL, steamy romance then you need to read Rosalie and Jack’s journey…2 people that have believed there is no such thing as finding their happily ever after, come together in the magical, mystical Gossamer Falls and just might find what they’ve been looking for! Love is just around the corner. Gossamer Falls and it’s habitants are slowly creeping into my heart. An amazing town with magic and mystery and a hot chief of police. Having met Jack in book 1 I knew he was someone special. A pillar of the community, a loving father, son, sibling and an police officer! Having been hurt in the past he doesn’t do relationships but then he meets Rosalie. Rosalie is from out of town, visiting for work, also having been hurt by the people who are meant to love you more than anyone she’s sceptical of relationships but then she meets Jack. A wonderful couple who deserve happiness, a brilliantly written book with amazing MCs, family values, humour, romance and heat, wow Jack is a gentleman in the streets but a devil between the sheets. Great to get a glimpse of Adam and Hazels future and looking forward to Autumms story next.

Absolutely Beautiful and Magical Story. This is book two in The Gossamer Falls series and it is Jack and Rosalie’s story. Jack is a single dad with a daughter and he is also the chief of police in the small town f Gossamer Falls and after trying marriage and ending up divorced he now doesn’t do or want a relationship as it left him jades and unable to trust so he dedicated his life to his daughter, family and his job. Rosalie isn’t looking for love or a relationship after her father walked out on her and her mother which has left her with not only emotional scars but also trust issues so now all she did was casual when it came to men. When Jack and Rosalie meet in Gossamer Falls at the local bar after she was snowed in while looking for a location for a place to shoot a music video they had a instant attraction and strong chemistry so they ended up having a one night stand only for Rosalie to return to her home town of Manhattan the next not knowing that they will be meeting again because her pop star client decided that she wanted to shoot her video in Gossamer Falls. When Jack and Rosalie see each other again their connection and chemistry is still just as strong but with secrets between when revealed will it break them apart before they have a chance to see if they can make a relationship between them work or will the legend of Gossamer Falls work it’s magic yet again and give Jack and Rosalie the happiness and future that they both deserve but didn’t know that they wanted, well only time will tell what the outcome will be for them in the end. Wow I absolutely love this book and series so much especially as Tara described this town and falls in such a way that you feel like you are there living through everything as if you are part of the community. I definitely recommend that you read this book and series and you will not be disappointed and I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing series.

4 ½ Stars for this sweet small town romance!. This book could easily be made into a Hallmark movie! It's a sweet story with a lot of steam. I love the premise of the falls being magical ... if the mist hits you under the full moon you will find your true love before the next full moon. I love that Jack and his ex got along and raised their daughter together. And that Rosalie didn't even realize she wanted a forever love The chemistry between Jack and Rosalie is off the charts and I was rooting for their happily-ever-after. This is a great addition to the series and I can't wait for the next book. Jack is the Chief of Police in Gossamer Falls and ever since his divorce several years ago, he's gotten the reputation of a playboy. Rosalie works for a pop princess in the PR department but there are many other jobs that fall on her shoulders. One of those jobs is checking out Gossamer Falls to see if it is a possible place for a music video. While she is there a snow storm hits and she decides to spend the night at Shepherd Inn. When she ventures out to the local bar for a drink she meets the town's hunky police chief and they end up having a one-night stand. Rosalie is back in Gossamer Falls a few weeks later for the video ... and she's not disappointed one little bit. she's excited to see Jack again as she can't stop thinking about him. The premise is endearing and emotional; the romance is seductive; the characters are energetic and determined.
