Real health is not just about avoiding colds and injuries. Real health begins with the uncritical assessment of your weaknesses and vulnerabilities, as well as your strengths. In this book are tools to assess yourself in terms of what you need to work on to improve your vitality, as well as how to direct yourself to the correct health care practitioner should you need one. Dr. Rosenberg's overview looks at man as he evolved to this point in time, and takes into consideration not only our physical attributes, but also how emotions can affect our wellbeing.
Many people work on just one aspect of their fitness, only to get injured as a result of what they failed to work on. We should have a balance between endurance, flexibility and strength in order to keep active and avoid issues.
Mark Rosenberg is a Doctor of Chiropractic who has been in practice since 1983. A graduate of Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia, Dr. Mark has practiced in New York, California and Hawaii. A third degree black belt in Korean Karate (Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do) and a long time practitioner of tai chi, he has 40 years of experience in the martial arts. It is in the synthesis of healing and martial arts that Dr. Rosenberg teaches from to help others achieve their full potential.
