5 Stars for Second Star. Romance, realism, mystery, fantasy, tidbits of a famous book of another era; what reader could ask for more? And as the reader I was captured immediately into the author's writing, I was carried along through each chapter, and then at the end hesitant to give up my relationship with the characters. The characters all had some complexity to the reasons why they behaved the way the did and so the reader is driven to move forward with the story in order to learn the answers AND find out how they all will be healed inside and out? Loved this story.

Also living in Flat #14 is Jack, a brilliant Professor looking for answers to his own past. He soon finds he has ties to Wendy from long ago. Jack is also drawn to Faye and her children realizing no matter how successful he is, the biggest part of life that he is missing out on is the love and stability of a family. “Second Star To The Right” is a wonderful story about healing and finding the love and magic in the everyday issues we all face and to never stop believing in magic no matter how old we get.
