Functional Flexibility focuses on one of the three primary components of functional fitness that apply to ADL (activities of daily living). This triad, which includes flexibility, cardiovascular fitness, and muscular strength and endurance, is designed to support an individual’s pursuit of their chosen daily activities, so that the individual will be able to perform those activities with greater efficiency, productivity, and with less exposure to injury. 

Covers flexibility movements and exercises for the lower extremities, the core, cervical region, shoulder region, and upper extremities. Also includes considerations for special populations and programs for various activities of daily living. Contains 130 clear photographs.
