Great book and narration. This was a great book written in the first person. The story kept me interested all the way to the end. I even teared up a little when Finn said that they named their baby Heather, just what Kylie wanted. Excellent read.

Loved it. This book was a huge surprise to me. I never thought I would love it as much as I did. Very well written and it kept me guessing the entire way through. Never lost interest and I found myself so emotionally invested. I wish I could read it for the first time all over again.

Pleasant but forgettable. I recently read this book and it was a decent, entertaining enough read due to the constant action and conflict but a numbered things annoyed me. The world building was a little inconsistent and sometimes the characters just did things to move the plot along. It was meant to be about zombies but it ended up being the old cliche about the government screwing people over. And the basic premise of the novel just didn't make sense- the whole positive sign tattooed on the hand if you came into contact with a zombie meaning a person was excluded, was pretty ridiculous since pretty much the entire population was running around fighting zombies anyway... But I wouldn't say don't read it. It was ok.

Just terrible. If you just want a zombie fix and don’t care about bad writing, knock yourself out. I couldn’t get past the clunkiness and 14yo storytelling level. Maybe the later novels improve? I really hope so.
