TERRIBLE LANGUAGE. Why must the F-bomb be used so much? I had to stop reading this half way through because of all the language. Sorry I purchased it.

A Killing at the Creek. Easy read, interesting characters, and hard to put down. Probably wouldn't have given it a second glance at a higher price, but I'm really glad I took a chance. Somewhat disappointed at the ending.

Terrible. Writing was choppy. Main character was immature. Pretty disappointing. Final moments were totally contrived.

Fun read. Okay, so it doesn't read like a Grisham novel, but it was entertaining. More like a "chic" read.

A Killing at the Creek. This book is categorized under, "Mystery & Thrillers." I certainly didn't see anything thrilling about this book and that wasn't even all that suspenseful. The only mystery was, was the defendant guilty or innocent. A rather boring read. DH

Elsie....fascinating !. Couldn't put this down! Another fast paced and masterful novel by Nancy Allen! Can't wait for the next book to catch up with Elsie's amazingly challenged life and work to pursue justice! Thanks Ms Allen for another great ride!

A Killing at the Creek. This new book by Nancy Allen is awesome. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. It is the best courtroom thriller I've read in ages. Elsie is a stunning protagonist. She is a fighter in the courtroom and the kind of woman you could join for a beer in the taproom. A great read.
